I’m confused. Been one plus years since sailing on Princess. Do elites still get mini bar and if so what can be swapped ? Is there a charge for doing this with room service?

An Elite benefit removed a while back. Disgraceful of princess to do that to loyal customers
You mean the elite mini bar is gone too?
where have I been hiding lol -
Was able to swap it out last January 2023.

The cards were gone quite a long time ago as it was converted to electronic. But as you have read, the whole program was scrapped and so it just doesn't exist to purchase nor swap to. This was trashed about to no end on this forum about two years ago.
Had no idea. 🤷🏻♀️

I made a mistake not coffee cards but a credit on your medallion for 15 specialty coffees and all the brewed coffee you want when you turn your elite bar in. It’s gone???
-
Is it true you can’t exchange the elite bar for coffee cards anymore?

Credits applied. Took a week.

Update after 5 days I heard back from Stockperk via email. I had to redeem the perk by giving the booking number, date the cruise starts, my full name and email. Then received another email saying that they will get back to me within 5 days to let me know it was applied. To make a long story short Princess has made this way more complicated and a much longer process.

I booked directly with Princess and the agent recommended I book a gty with a complimentary one category upgrade. Today I was assigned a cabin but did not receive the upgrade. I called Princess phone number and wasted 1.5 hours of my time which I will never get back. In the end I was hanged up on when I asked to speak to a supervisor. Is there a specific number I can call to get this resolved. Help! TY

No response yet after submitting statement

So I downloaded the app and entered my statement with most of it blacked out except for CCL shares. However, it never asked me for sail date, ship, booking number etc. Then I got an email saying in about 2 days they will get back to me. What are the next steps? Seems silly as the old way you just sent in your statement. This is more of a lengthy process.

FCD only last a year now.
Since when? That’s awful. Not everyone can or will cruise once a year.

Been one year since we cruised with Princess. Found out yesterday that you can’t hold a cabin for 24 hours anymore and that you have to download an app to get stockholder credit. Anything we should know?

Not sure if you can see from the screenshot but the supermarket Pam, just up from the train station (and bus station) was well stocked and only about 1.5 km from the port. We were there for one and half days and did not see much better for wine or groceries. I liked Trieste as an embarkation port because it was quiet.
Thanks

Would like to buy 2 bottles of wine before we board in Trieste that is close to the port. Suggestions ?

After some rude remarks and assumptions we have decided to change our plans and be at the port by noon.

The car you are traveling in could be THE problem... accident, flat tire, broken down, etc. 😮
Wishing you luck!!!
That could all happen on your way to airport too. I will rethink all of this and let you know when we are in our aft facing cabin. First timer in one of those.

From Holland America “All guests must be on board one hour prior to the published sailing time on the "Your Itinerary" page of these documents.”
If all goes as planned we should be at the the port no later than 2:45 pm. We depart at 5 pm. If there is an accident the cruise ship buses will be in the same boat as us. Pun intended 😂

Have you checked into taking a train/and then a taxi to port, and leaving in the morning from your friends home? Driving is a risky business because of traffic/accidents. With "planning" to arrive 2 hours before sailing is very risky!!! Plus, if I am correct, you actually need to be onboard 1 hour prior to sail away. Or at least 30 minutes before.
I see that 1025cruise says it's 90 minutes!!!
Have to be onboard 1 hour before sail away.

Do you mean arrive at the ship’s dock in Trieste at 2:00 before scheduled sailing time or when you get to the city? Are you arriving in Trieste the same day. And what. mode of transportation to the city?
Two hours at the ship is barely enough time. You must not only get onboard but complete muster before the ship can sail. It is a very risky choice.
If you are arriving in Trieste two hours prior to sailing, you may very well not make the ship. If landing at the airport two hours prior, you’d almost certainly not make the ship as you’d need to clear customs (unless EU). You can’t control service providers’ schedules. It is easy to run late.
We are staying overnight in Jesolo, with friends. They will be driving us to the port. It’s a 2 hour drive. Unfortunately, we can’t leave till 1 pm from their home. Ship sails at 5 pm.

that should be okay- won't have long lines to stand in!
That’s true, one benefit. I worry about traffic on a Sunday. But I worry about everything lol 😂

Pay for casual dining venues ?
in Princess Cruises

Been a year so things have changed. Heard you must pay for “casual” dining if you don’t have a package. I’m going on the Enchanted. What is an up charge venue other than Crown and Sabatini ?
