Totally agree with you. Let's be frank. Carnival is THE ONLY CRUISELINE that allows people to enter the buffet with NO SHOES, NO SHIRT- BATHING SUIT ONLY. on my last Carnival, which was on the Horizon, their flagship, a woman was in the buffet wearing ONLY her string bikini - no shoes, no wrap, her breasts basically exposed..

NO, Carnival won't have any problems with someone wearing nice jeans and a polo shirt on elegant night. Was done many times on the Horizon.

I never understood the desire to be in the middle of the loud over crowded area when there's so many other places to sit and enjoy oneself and even talk without having to yell ! Give me a chair on a high deck in the shade any day !

(y) Exactly. I require the level of service we've become accustomed to, which is a big part of why we've made cruising one of our most frequent vacations. I simply don't understand why anyone would imply it's wrong to want that. I treat the crew with courtesy, am polite and tip appropriately. What I don't do is consider how to make their jobs easier by settling for less on my vacation (which, btw, I've earned by doing my job without expecting pity from my valuable customers).
