  1. Hello Robert,

Charles and I look for to seeing you on the Koningsdam. Our last HAL

Cruise was on the Eurodam, April 2015, Ft. Lauderdale to Rome.

That was a great cruise. For the last 2 years we took Celebrity Transatlantic Cruises, they were good too.

On HAL ships we like the Asian Restaurant Tamarind and the Silk Den. When we were on the Eurodam,

The LGBTQ get togethers were in the Silk Den.

We’re starting to look at shore excursions for the trip. We’ll have to keep in touch pre-cruise.

  2. Hi Peter and Charles, I will be travelling with my friend Robert on this cruise. We are doing the 24 day B/B on the Koningsdam and will boarding on October 18. I am looking forward to going on this new ship. It has been 11 years since I have been on HAL. Frank

  3. Hello All,

Peter and Charles here from Port St. Lucie FL. We have a suggestion that worked nicely on our Silhouette Eastbound TA last year.

We started out in TMB and then later migrated to the Ensemble Lounge (1 deck up). The Ensemble Lounge is a nice venue once the pre-dinner Elite and Elite+ guests clear out. On the Silhouette the LGBTQ group would spend time in the Oceanview Cafe after the shows, for socialization and a snack or Sleepy Time tea.

We also enjoyed a few lunchtime get together sin the Main Dining Room. Just some thoughts to ponder. Looking forward to meeting everyone soon.

    Regards,

    Peter and Charles in FL

  4. Yes the Park Cafe is an excellent choice for lunch. They make fresh salads and have great soups. When

You are in Port Everglades Terminal 18 bldg)look at the sign before the escalator; it will list all the dining venues open for lunch upon boarding.

  5. I just came off Allure of the Seas today, 10/23/16.

The Park Cafe is an excellent complimentary dining venue (for breakfast or lunch). Get there early, fills up at peak breakfast and lunch times. Johnny Rockets serves a free breakfast. The lunch at Johnny Rockets there is a charge.

Sabor is a good Mexican restaurant, however there is a nominal charge.
