  1. If this is your first Cheers package experience, just remember it does not include the souvenir drinks/cups at the pool, buckets of beer or the 'take home the shot glass' drinks in the dining room.  The one drink at a time is for alcohol, I have never had issue getting a drink and a water or a drink and a soda at the same time.  My wife and I drink a lot of the specialty coffee as we don't care for the stuff at the buffet, so there is some value in that along with the sports drinks and energy drinks mentioned above.  One last thing to note, that some like doubles or 'floaters' on their drinks and that is a no-go for Cheers (unless you really get to know your bartender).

  2. I think it also depends what port you are sailing from.  95% of our cruises have been out of Galveston.  Lots of Boots and Jeans on formal night (including me).  But like everyone says, it's a big mix.

  3. We had mixed feelings about the Spa room we booked on the Vista.  The T-Pool was always crowded when we wanted to use it.  The cabins are nice and quiet though.  The biggest issue was that we were on deck 12 and only 2 elevators in the forward bank of elevators went to 12.  So, if you do get a spa room, maybe deck 11 is better if you don't like to wait or don't like stairs.

I don't think I would book another Spa room, even if it was the same price.

  4. We are on the 6/29 Vista cruise and we just got our iten changed.  8 day cruise now vs. 7 day.  Jamaica and Grand Cayman cancelled, only hitting Cozumel and Costa Maya.  We will cruise 1-9 July vs. 29 June - 6 July.

Same credits and refunds as the other previous cruises that were impacted.

  5. My offer has the free room and casino cash. Same as last year. Since I have not been on an regular Premier cruise, I don't know the difference. Last year, others said the prizes were much better on the ULTRA. Apple Watches, iPads, iPhones, MacBooks, etc. Everyone one with the ULTRA invite (not their guest/spouse) was guaranteed one of these prizes.

So, i assume it's the same format as the Premier, just better prizes and more money given away.

The 'grand prize' that was given was the ELITE cruise that included Cruise in a suite, Spa, Excursions, etc.

If I had to choose between Premier and Ultra, I would do the ULTRA.

  6. I seen the offer in our VFIP section and received a mailer in the mail yesterday. We booked the 27 Nov date on the Breeze. This will be our second ULTRA cruise.

We have never been on a regular Premiere cruise, but i can say the ULTRA is a really great time. They have some fantastic giveaways and events. Usually get daily goodies as well (Strawberries in your room, bottle of wine, Steakhouse comp, etc)

Last year talking to others on the ULTRA, they say they fill up quick, so if you are on the fence, book it! it's a great time.
