Heard back from them! They need one more couple with two of our excursions..August 9th to Florence/Pisa and August 10th Rome/Vatican excursion. Hoping we find another couple soon! We're so soon to cruising, I'm surprised it's taken so long for these to fill up. I need to post everywhere to find another couple.
Hope it works out for you. We loved our tours. We took 4 total with them last month.
I would guess they have others booked, just looking to fill up another van. There were a total of 4 vans the day we went.

Hi Guys - Do we have to carry our passports when we go on the tours - or is a drivers license sufficiesnt for entry back to ship (as RC rqrs)?
I have read to carry passport, with copies in your safe on ship and at home. That is what we are going to do.

From first contact with them to the time I got the confirmation that my credit card payment had been applied and was processed, it took about a week.

We have 4 tours booked with them in June, NCL Epic cruise. Someone made the comment to me they were a "glorified taxi" I am wondering how the guide was.
Thanks

Crews girl: Thanks for the links. My cruise is also in June. Seems overwhelming.

Jacobtsf: We have 4 tours booked with italytours.eu. coming up in June while on the Epic. Did you have the guides take you into places or simply drop you off? Someone made the comment to me, they thought it was "just a glorified taxi service". Thanks for any input.

I have them booked for 4 excursions for our upcoming cruise in June. I'm trusting what I have read.

We are trying NCL on 10 day Med. in June.

Loooking for thoughts on these two excursions. I did see a review on Teq. Mexology.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks so much for sharing. My family has cruised for 25 yrs, and have talked about this a lot. Thanks so much for taking the time to share during this difficult time.

And can be used your last morning before disembarking. Good for specialty coffees too.
Maybe the obvious, so that means 4 are added to your card on disembarking day?

Any more comments? Going in Dec. on Liberty.

I've read in multiple places that the pier ocean bed is still too shallow to accommodate Mardi Gras. Other Carnival ships are okay.
We stopped there Jan.6th without a problem. Beautiful!

Looking forward to the full review - a few quick questions, we are sailing on Saturday
How were the protocols, was embarkation organized
Was it difficult getting on/off the ship at ports
Was the serenity area packed
Did you do any specialty restaurants
Thanks 🙂
I will give my perspective. We were on the Jan.2-8 sailing. Embarkation was organized. I like it that you can unload your car as you enter the parking deck. Once inside the building, we had about an hour wait, getting there at 11:30, with 12:00 boarding, before processing. Once that happened, we moved very fast. Checked passports, vaccine cards, results of tesing. I didn't see anyone without masks. Carnival had them to pass out, if needed.
Itinerary did not change for us, other than a late arrival at Nassau. We did not get off at Nassau.
Puerto Plata, did an excursion, followed by Grand Turk, which was a nice beach stop. Enjoyed margs at Margaritaville. There were no issues getting on or off the ship at ports.
Lots of options for seating in Serenity, not packed while we were there. It was very windy. Nice salad bar in that area. Hot tub was crowded.
We did the steakhouse. Food was awesome. I would highly recommend.

Looking at excursion options for next month on Mardi Gras. Many are marked sold out. Does Carnival hold back slots for those to book once they get on the ship?
Thanks in advance.

What can they be used for? Assuming excursions?

No refund, but you can upgrade at the prevailing rates, which may result in no additional or minimal cost.
I was able to upgrade our May 9th cruise from a deck 6 inside to a deck 9 OV. I was able to keep my OBC.

Any ideas and suggestions? I have done some research, but looking for input. Thanks in advance.

Also looking for new comments. Anything on snuba?

This is first cruise looking to prebook entertainment. We are SOS, May 9th cruising. Please explain the process. Is it a must? Can one person book for several,10-15, and are reservation numbers needed to do so? Are seats assigned, or first come, first served? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info and taking the time to post.

Just started doing research. So pool is free? Any age restrictions?
Thanks
Has anyone used italytours.eu recently? Looking for recommendations

We had to pay by cc 10 days prior to cruise departure. Once the cc payment was processed, we received details where to meet, etc. We did use Euros for tips.
