Do Italytours allow you to pay in cash on the day of the trip like their sister company in Spain

Or does everything have to be paid by C Card upfront ?

We have Euros to use and so dont really want to have to pay out on a credit card.

There's very limited info on their website .

    Thx in advance

We had to pay by cc 10 days prior to cruise departure.  Once the cc payment was processed, we received details where to meet, etc.  We did use Euros for tips.

Heard back from them! They need one more couple with two of our excursions..August 9th to Florence/Pisa and August 10th Rome/Vatican excursion. Hoping we find another couple soon! We're so soon to cruising, I'm surprised it's taken so long for these to fill up. I need to post everywhere to find another couple.

Hope it works out for you.  We loved our tours.  We took 4 total with them last month.

I would guess they have others booked, just looking to fill up another van.  There were a total of 4 vans the day we went.

  3. Jacobtsf:  We have 4 tours booked with italytours.eu. coming up in June while on the Epic. Did you have the guides take you into places or simply drop you off?  Someone made the comment to me, they thought it was "just a glorified taxi service".  Thanks for any input.

Looking forward to the full review - a few quick questions, we are sailing on Saturday

How were the protocols, was embarkation organized

Was it difficult getting on/off the ship at ports

    Was the serenity area packed

Did you do any specialty restaurants

    Thanks 🙂

I will give my perspective. We were on the Jan.2-8 sailing. Embarkation was organized.  I like it that you can unload your car as you enter the parking deck. Once inside the building, we had about an hour wait, getting there at 11:30, with 12:00 boarding, before processing.  Once that happened, we moved very fast. Checked passports, vaccine cards, results of tesing. I didn't see anyone without masks.  Carnival had them to pass out, if needed.

Itinerary did not change for us, other than a late arrival at Nassau. We did not get off at Nassau.

Puerto Plata, did an excursion, followed by Grand Turk, which was a nice beach stop.  Enjoyed margs at Margaritaville.  There were no issues getting on or off the ship at ports.

Lots of options for seating in Serenity, not packed while we were there.  It was very windy.  Nice salad bar in that area.  Hot tub was crowded.

We did the steakhouse.  Food was awesome.  I would highly recommend.
