We missed dcl private island 1 out of 2 times. It's disappointing but it happens

We have 9 yr old too who would love the show we are going to change to drink and him hopefully on board. As I don't think he would eat what is on the menu

Is the meravigilia sky lounge allow kids  now that its in the caribbean? I have a very well behaved 9 yr old who will love to sit up there and enjoy the views? 

2) do children still get wristband that opens the door etc

Our son didn't spend much time in the kids club due to him being busy with the water slides, the shows, and hanging with the other kids we were with. But he did like it the night he went!

Tips with kids:

Our boy loves the slides..but if your kids like pools and not a good swimmer I would bring floaties

Write a note to the captain on deck 5 he will write back!

If your kids don't like what's on the dinner menu you can ask them to get chicken and fries from up top!

We are a couple early 40s with a 7 yr old boy! We booked this ship before it was built. We have been on 3 other cruises 2 Disney 1 carnival. We enjoyed them all!

Msc seaside was the most beautiful and largest ship we have ever been on.

We had fantastica ocean view right off the atrium ...great location. Great room steward Kim! Who checked on us and assisted us with everything!

Our drink vouchers didn't show up right away went up to the front desk and they verified Kim would bring them to our room!

Dinner service was great they went up and got our 7 yo chicken and fries every night...which he loved! They took care of us and refilled our drinks several times.

Show s were excellent...son loved waterslides...

Anyways all staff were wonderful and we booked for next year!

Some tips:

Be nice to the staff they will be nice to you

Head up to deck 18 to fill out waterslide waiver as soon as you are on the ship

Book all your shows on app the first night that way you get the times you want

Beer prov family and adult shows were great
