Thanks, Ken. Do you have any good resources for these “reputable shore excursion companies”?
Yes, Phoenix, this July 7. I don’t really know when I plan to board at this point. I will say I would likely try to get on board as soon as possible as I think I am driving down and will arrive the night before. Surely some of us late to the party can still get times somewhere.

I’m excited to be getting back on a ship after 4 years and my first time on an Oasis class. Now that we are booked (family of 4 w/ 15 & 20 yr olds), I have many questions about restaurant/activity/excursion packages, beverage packages, internet packages, etc., etc. I know so much can be done in advance so I wonder if I am at a real disadvantage by not securing certain things in advance? I was told there would be a sale on shore excursions, dining/beverage packages, etc. starting on 5/8. What packages are “worthwhile” and which ones may not be worth purchasing? I know this is somewhat subjective and I’m sure somewhere out here on CC is all sorts of valuable info but if I could get some info/insight or directed by savvy members as to where some of these answers are, that would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Thanks. Was having a moment of buyers remorse. The duration fit the window I had to work with (had to be home before Saturday, 4/11) and the itinerary was better than a 4 night Bahamas deal. No doubt my 11 year old social butterfly will make friends with whoever and partake in whatever activities while I could see my 15 year old just hanging with me on deck working on that tan. Looking forward to it.

In searching spring break options I came across a deal to my liking for the 5-night Constellation cruise to Key West & Cozumel. The price suited my budget and the cruise length suited the window of time I had to travel. This is my first time on Celebrity and my kids' (ages 15 & 11) second cruise. I've always wanted to try Celebrity but I also recognize this is not Carnival or RCCL so I find myself (needlessly?) worrying whether or not my kids will enjoy the 2 days at sea. The 2 port days will not be a problem. I'm hoping that with it being spring break there might be an above average number of kids on board. Appreciate any thoughts and comments.
Just booked Allure for July. So many questions.

Thanks, everyone. I’ll dig into this and start figuring it out.
