Vitrocmax quotes an email outlining requirements and the no spirits reminder in which it says evidence of travel insurance is required.
just covering all bases and I know many use bank cover but apart from a yearly reminder of benefits I have not seen a certificate of sorts.
during Covid resettlement we had letter from bank. Thanks -
When one has travel insurance is bank account what does P and O accept as proof of such?
in the past it’s just been bank letter but is this enough ?
Thanks -
We’re new to P and O. Booked a family cruise in July/August flying Manchester to Malta to join Azura. Booked extra baggage with Tui. Fine but surprise surprise their automatic email confirmation is down and has been for sometime. Lady was lovely and gave me references for both flights. However I like to have something to show if challenged and me saying a reference number isn’t reassuring. Am I looking for a problem that won’t arise? Any help please? Once again thanks in anticipation

Thanks that was what we thought. With the children we decided against specialty dining and will have some extra special lunches off ship instead.

Sorry if this seems daft but we’re first time P and o so this recent issue regarding booking meals has confused us.
We are a 2 and a 4 with a linked booking and a seating for dinner at 6.30pm table for six requested. Do we need to book this on line or is the initial booking sufficient?
I’d assumed it was just specialty dining. Could someone clarify for me please? Thanks again

Many encounter this issue with luggage labels not being available. Known fixes are (1) log in from a different device and/or browser - in particular P&O website is notorious for not showing correctly on mobiles; (2) ensure you have completed every stage of the booking, including uploading a photo; and (3) if you have issues when downloading them, they may be in your download folder even if the webpage seemed to crash during the process.
Hope this helps.
Help. You mention uploading a photo. I have no idea what this is nor how to do it. What is it and is it necessary please?

We are going with an open mind. Don’t prejudge places and all being well we will be converts. 😊

First time on P and o. Reading reviews nit sure it’s the right decision but booked and paid for. Question is when exactly are labels available? It implies it’s when you fill in personal information and have a cabin number. Yes to both but no labels appear. Am I doing something wrong or have I got duff information?
thanks in anticipation.

Well at least they got the right name for me. I wonder how I’d explain a Stuart away!
nit having cruised with them before it startled me as until Paulatsea replied I didn’t see the change.

Thanks. Reread email and there’s a notice about support on board ship in case of emergency which wasn’t there before. Do it must be that. appreciate help

In may booked a first cruise with P and O for next July. Have received emails giving same information as on original bookings saying important information included but there’s no additional info. Got two of these and wonder if this common for them?
anyone know why?
thanks

We didn’t get given labels either at airport or embarkation. We did our own which were perfectly acceptable but not sure if I would rely on them iv going on bonded luggage due to differences in what handlers expect to see.
-
That’s almost exactly what happened to us. I was told by marella it was a known issue. They would give me labels at either airport or embarkation. I made our own. They were perfectly adequate if you know your cabin number. If not they take them to reception in ship from where you can fetch them. Our labels were readable andthat was all they were concerned with. It was odd though a good quarter had home made labels.

Last 2 weeks February. Food for us was fine. Ate mdr mostly. Only problem for us in buffet was the fact it wasn’t self service. That aside we thought it was good. Quicker in mornings to go for breakfast in buffet than mdr which we like but not good if off for an early start. Late night food good for diabetic husband.
only a handful of children first week including my Ava and Alex. Second week more but not excessive considering it was half term week. We had children with us so it wasn’t obvious to us but didn’t seem too bad. Others will have to judge.
In general food was good in our opinion and sufficient. The sandwich bar on top deck was also good as was the burger bar. Queues moved quickly.-

My point was not that people should wear black tie etc but that I wouldn’t go into the mdr straight ftom sunbathing wearing what to me is beach wear and carrying beach towels and associated paraphernalia. This was what happened every night especially during our last week. I would like to see people smart and if one’s version is shirt and trousers that’s fine by me. If I want to dress up I will but I won’t go to mdr in shorts and skimpy top. That’s not a vision I’d subject anyone to!😂

So agree. We were on end of February 2022. First week probably two thirds had black tie etc. second week about half. The standard of dress was appalling in main dining room for this second week. Many were in beach wear. Shorts vests etc allowed. Most hotels we visit don’t allow men in if not in long trousers. If I want to dress down I go to the buffet. We like dressing up a bit. We save long and hard for our trips. Money isn’t easy for us so we want pleasant memories of these times.
I’d like Marella to actually say No to some of the poor behaviours from passengers that we witnessed with our grandchildren this last month. I will be with them if they do. -
I don’t know how.
-
Filled in this form as far as can go at the moment. But as I added the group it went to passenger 1 then 2and so on. I thus entered five members plus me. I didn’t re-enter my details. Is this correct?
also when I finish form on Saturday is it timed to flight out or landing ?
Thanks for all your help.

Thank you all for your help. I think we will get return pass on ship. But still can’t print out luggage labels. I don’t understand why one page says yes and the next says no.
Would it make much difference if I do what I usually do and make my own?I have booked cabins so can’t see problem.
-
Years ago travel agent got them then last couple of times an attendant at airport baggage drop had them. I’ve only ever printed off Princess ourselves.

Hello
thanks for your patience and I think I am getting on top of things.
We leave for two week cruise around Gran Canaria on 14th after many cancellations and I have only two questions left.
1. Do we get return boarding passes printed on the ship? I have been able to print outward ones.
2. How do I get luggage labels? It says they’re available but then cabin allocations not done yet? Thanks all Di

Thanks. Would you know if I test us all then do the paperwork All post 9 pm of course. Or do I have to do each of us individually and wait six separate fifteen minutes?
Could I do us all more or less at same time and then take photo but upload each one but as a block?
Sorry if I sound as stupid as I feel

Thanks one and all. We did get letter from bank immediately after Covid but you then forget when everything lapses back to normal.
NatWest not the sharpest when asking for letters so will get asking now.
