  1. We were on the constellation in September on the Italy and Greek island cruise. Everything on the ship including the food and the crew we’re nearly impeccable! My only comment is that occasionally they are doing too much up selling. But I believe that’s going on throughout the industry.

  2. Celebrities internet packages seem very expensive. Did they recently raise the rates? Accordingly, I will not buy the package at 259 US for a 10 day cruise but instead plan to connect in the ports instead. So for me and my Girlfriend we would have to pay over 500 bucks for on-board unlimited internet. Also, pre-cruise, Celebrity is only offering unlimited internet - no smaller packages. We may try Oceana or Viking in the future as their all inclusive deals are looking better and better.

  3. Thanks for the photos of the Celebrity Constellation Solarium after the 2017 Refurb. Does anybody have an assessment of the Constellation overall since its out of the May 2017 Dry Dock. Any comments on MDR food, cabins, public rooms, etc. after Refurb would be very much appreciated . We are on the Constellation in August and have been a bit concerned with some of the negative comments on the Constellation pre-the May 2017 Refurb/Dry Dock.

Thank you kindly for any information or photos.

  4. Thanks for the PIC's from the Harmony. How is the food and service and is most of the construction finished. We will be on her 14 July from Rome. There were some complaints on the first cruise about unfinished work - haven't heard anything negative on the current cruise - Southampton - Barcelona??? I've always had good experiences on RCI. Hope your having a great time - any comments on the Harmony cruise experience are appreciated.

  5. After reading the negative reviews on Dynamic Dining on the Quantum, I'm elated that Dynamic Dining has been postponed (and I hope totally eliminated on the Oasis). Using a less than robust WebSite to juggle dining times, restaurants, shows, tours, and whatever else is not (for me) and not the way I want my cruise experience to start. Being told to do it on the ship is even worse - lines, and running all over the place at the last minute is not for me. I've been on the Allure 3 times and will cruise the Oasis later in 2015. I'm VERY happy with 1st, 2nd, and My Time dining options and was very happy with the way things are/were. And I don't need yet more dining options. To their credit, it looks like RCI got the message from many passengers that have experienced both Traditional and Dynamic Dining. Kudos to RCI for listening!!!

  6. Just found out today that a Spring cruise will be on Dynamic Dining and we had booked Anytime Dining. My real concern is that I can now book entertainment days and times - but can't yet make restaurant reservations.

So, how do I book show times, etc. without knowing what time dinner will be each day. I know from experience that RCI dinner reservations book-up fast and it's sometimes very hard to get the times you want. I called RCI and was told you can always book on the ship. Sorry, but I'm not going to be running around the ship and standing in line on a Cruise vacation. They also mentioned that the Windjammer is always available. Sorry, but the Windjammer is unacceptable as the ONLY option for dinner.

Here's what I know for sure. If we end-up not being able to get dinner reservations to support Show times, or, if we end-up in the Windjammer even one dinner night, or, if I'm running around last minute on the ship trying to make dinner reservations or changing Show reservations - RCI will never see me and my Girl Friend on another one of their cruises. Also, now we are hearing there will be only 3 of these new type restaurants on the Oasis (I mean the one's without a surcharge).

We have been loyal RCI cruisers and really supported the brand - but this sounds like a lot of hassle and pushing even more work on the customer that should be done by the cruise line i.e., Dinner and Show time reservations that match-up with each other.

And, if I once am told my onlyoption for dinner is the Windjammer - it will surely be Adios to RCI for good.
