My family and I are going on our first Alaska cruise this coming June. My husband favorite hobby is Fishing. I would like to charter a boat for him to go fishing in the Ketchikan port. Does anyone recommend a private charter company? Thank you so much.

Hello. Great question because I'm looking on here for suggestions since my husband loves fishing. its one of the excursions I want to book for him. Looking forward to reading all the responses. It will be our first time on an Alaska cruise.

I have a quick inquiry. I am traveling with my family of 12. We are a total of 6 adults and 6 young children. We are arriving in Fort Lauderdale 2 days earlier to enjoy the city and our husbands to enjoy the fishing that the city can offer. What is a good hotel to stay at that is close to the port and will provide shuttle service and be close to some great cites?

Our travel dates: December 28-30th. Our cruise leaves December 30 Harmony of the Seas.

Hello Fellow Cruisers. Im traveling with my family in a week and we are doing last minute excursion booking. we will be in St. Thomas on January 3rd. What do you recommend for anyone traveling with 4 kids and 4 adults? We are on the Disney Fantasy. I've never been on the island before. thank you so much for your help. have a wonderful holiday.

We were pleasantly surprised when they had it on the Wonder for the New Years cruise but it would be 2 years ago. Just wondering if Fantasy does any surprise events for their boat especially for a holiday trip.

Hello. I'm wondering if The Fantasy does a bbq lunch on the ship?

We were on the Wonder during New Years a year ago and to our surprise they had a bbq lunch on the pool deck. My husband loved it. We are on the Fantasy this December and he is looking forward to the BBQ they had on the Wonder.

what are your excursions suggestions for a 3 year old in Ocho Rios and Grand Cayman. Ive done some research but wanting to get some opinions of what other families have done.

My family and I are leaving in December on the Getaway. Just a little background on our cruising past. 2 years ago we were on the Dawn(2015) for the first time on NCL. We normally cruise with Royal(5 cruises) and last year we were on the Disney. We've been on several cruises and very happy.

On the Dawn, we are able to bring bottle waters and milk(Lactaid) for my son 1years old as the time. He has a severe dairy intolerance and he only drinks a certain kind of milk. We were able to bring it on the ship with us just as long as we can carry it on. About a couple weeks ago, i was reading that NCL has changed that policy to where they no longer allow beverages to be brought into the boat via carryon. My question, do they allow beverage thermos to refill drinks? My husband drinks about half a gallon ofwater a day or even more. we have the UBP but it doesnt include water bottles. He is okay with the filtered water in the soda machine but he doesnt want to keep asking for a glass of water each time. Or does anyone suggest to buy the bottled water program they have online to be on the safe side. Im curious to find out what other people are doing.

Also, we are in a balcony cabin but willing to upgrade to a mini-suite if there is an advantage or perk to having a bigger room. ( Family of 3)

Does the sofa on the getaway become a twin size bed or even bigger. On the Dawn, the sofa converted into a bed that was slightly bigger than a normal twin and hoping it was the same way.

Hello. Im a disney fan and i live in California. I visit Disneyland very often and i am really excited that my husband booked the Disney Cruise for new years. I have a couple questions regarding the Wonder boat and your overall experience.

Since this is my first time on the Disney cruise line and I started planning already so that i can prepare myself for the trip. Did anyone have any problems with the Disney Cruise line accommodating them with food allergies. I called my ticket agent and there response is that they cant guarantee anything. My son is 2 years old and he is allergic to several foods and the most extreme is Peanuts/Nuts (Tree Nuts). He needs to have an epipen with him all the time. Also, he's allergic to dairy products. So i know what to provide for him but when i called the disney cruise line customer support they told me that they cant guarantee they have lactose free milk for him. Im lost on what to do since he still drinks milk at night. I'm very concern and the customer support line doesnt want to provide me with information. Also, did anyone have any problems bringing packaged snacks for their kids. This is the first time i feel like disney is not accommodating to children.

Cruise background: Been on Royal Carribean and Norwegian.

I'm sailing out of New Orleans on Dec 28th with my family and I was wondering if anyone experienced rough seas during that time. I checked the weather during that time and it says thunderstorms. In my mind I'm thinking rough seas. I have severe motion sickness and I'm tempted to get the patch for this trip. If anyone has experience with the seas during time please let me know. Thank you

I'm leaving in 3 weeks leaving out of New Orleans. I was reading on another thread that the NO port doesn't allow soda and water to be brought on the ship. Do you know where I can find this information on the website. Thank you in advance.
