I was hoping that there would be a kiosk in the airport, but now I am thinking that the arrivals would not have one.
What I will probably end up doing is buying it at my airport in Toronto. As long as you buy it after the security check-in you can keep it in your carry on.

I was worried if I had to pay an extra 18% per drink. I found on the RC web site that it is included.
Q: Are gratuities included in the all-inclusive beverage packages purchase price?
A: A service charge of 18% has already been included in the purchase price. You will not have to pay additional gratuities unless you desire to do so.

I have not been in the cruise yet but I have been reading a lot on this forum.
From what I have read, the Royal IQ App uses the ships internal network (intranet). So the IQ App will work without getting the internet plan.

I am thinkig of getting the "Select" drink package (beer and wine up to $8 a glass I think).
I am just wondering if anyone knows if drink packages can be used for these self serve wine dispenser's ?

I have read that a few days before the cruise, your reservations show zero but when you get on the ship you will see them all. That "might" be the case with you.
I know when I go that is what I am expecting to happen.

You would use your Set Sail Pass for any drink purchase.
Perfect, thanks :)

I know that you cannot get your sea pass until your room is ready. My question is, Can you get alcoholic beverages while waiting for your room to get ready? I am thinking no because you do not have your sea pass card, but I thought I would ask.

I am on the Q on April 24th. I wonder if it will still be there. I will get a drink from it, but I am sure the novelty of it will be short lived.

I have been following the post everyday from day one. Up to new years I was pretty worried too. But when you are reading the post every day, you will see that every day there are less negative and more positive reviews. It seems that since the New Years cruise things have turned around.
I was so close to cancelling, but know I am excited again (cruising on April 24). I think you should be excited too.

How about "Select" drink package?

I have booked all my dinners for my cruise in April but no option to book lunch. Did you guys book lunch or do you just walk up?
-
You are saying the day before? Or do you mean 2:24 a.m.? The ship probably
doesn't leave till 4:00 p.m. so that should be enough time. And what month?
We could have snow storms now till spring. Who knows.
I had a 10:30am flight home the same day but I think it would be too close, so I purchased tickets for 2:45pm. After reading the reviews looks like I will be fine. Some people even mentioned that I might be able to make 10:30am. 10:30 would have been too stressful so I am happy I have 2:45pm tickets.
BTW this will be for Saturday May the 2nd.

Thanks Kmurph22, I think I will keep this flight :)

When I take this cruise, I have booked a 2:45pm flight at Newark airport(the ship arrives at 7:00am). Do you guys think that is enought time to get off teh ship and to the airport?
-
Thanks Cruisenfever. I was telling my wife that I think we are cutting it way to close. I think we will book a flight for the next day and spend the day in New York city,I have never been there.

For anyone who is choosing that carry their own luggage and go straight to the Newark Airport by Taxi, can you please let me know what time you got to the airport. My cruise arrives at 7:00 and my flight is at 10:30 (should be at the airport at 8:30). Leaves me 1.5 hours to get there. I just want to make sure that's fine or if I should rebook I (rebooking will cost me at least $400 so I would like to avoid that).

"Those less than 6 feet tall must weigh less than 230 lbs, and those over 6 feet must weigh less than 250 lbs." is from the Royal Caribbean website. I searched for this because I am 6 foot 5 and 255 pounds. I was thinking I would be a little heavy. I hope that I will have the extra 5 pounds gone by April.

Watching with interest and just speculating, maybe they need different suits with more space under the arms and such to get enough lift. Maybe they don't have them all yet. At 6/1 220, I'm interested in that as well.

A few more that I know of that have them are Quantum class and also Harmony of the seas.
My understanding is that it is a live video feed. I saw some videos of it on YouTube. It looks okay, I think I will try it one day.
