Oh wow. You poor things. That’s awful. Hope you are all ok now 😢
where was the supervised rat test conducted?
thanks for info , so what I have heard is pretty much correct. Thank you 🙏We were in isolation but I think they did testing in Two70 but I could be wrong ….. the medical centre was inundated by covid cases by then. We’re fine now but were disembarked with no information or assistance…. we live in Perth. Not a great experience ……. we won’t book any more b2b until they stop the testing.

We were just on the Ovation b2b2b except we caught covid on the first cruise so couldn’t continue. The other b2b passengers had to have a supervised rat test on the last day of the cruise and if tested positive they we also disembarked.

Hi all
FWIW .... I just got back from 3 months of traveling including 3 back to back cruises. I tried to travel light so took a Panasonic FZ200 instead of my D800. I also took my MacBook Air 13 " with Lightroom on it.
Each night I loaded the card onto my 1Tb drives ( I took two).
Lightroom allows you to load onto one drive and copy to another location at the same time. I felt reassured that I fad my precious memories on two separate locations. Never had any dramas but I knew I had insurance in case it did...

Hi all
FWIW I have a Nikon D3 and D800 with a number of lenses. I took the D800 on a cruise a few years ago with my 28-300 lens. Got about 70% keepers which was great.
This year we did 3 months of travel including 3 consecutive cruises. I needed to travel light so bought and took the FZ200. Must admit I was surprised by the ease of use and quality of the results with at least 95% keepers. Apart from the electronic view finder which I don't really care for, the camera performed flawlessly and taking photos was a pleasure.
600 mm zoom was great too. Now how to reduce the 6000 plus photos?
Get the FZ200. You won't be disappointed.

You poor things!! We have some b2b cruises in October/November next year, the first one being a transatlantic from Barcelona to Florida for which we would presently need a supervised rat before we can board followed by 2 Caribbean cruises ….. we won’t be going if this isn’t changed after our recent experience.
Ive managed to get refunds by contacting RCCL’s head office in Miami. Still waiting for credits for our days in isolation and paperwork from them stating we were disembarked and why so that we can claim for extra costs on our travel insurance.
