Rockport is certainly worth visiting, but a tour via cab or trolley can show you the Gloucester which Fitz Henry Lane and other renowned artists loved. The waterfront is "Gloucester", but there are aspects of it which will also amaze you!

Gloucester has many attractions. Take a scenic tour of the island touching the "Back Shore", Rocky Neck, Stage Fort Park and Good Harbor Beach. There are some nice shops in the downtown area. Cruiseport is the terminal and there should be brochures available. It's a beautiful city!

We are four adults looking for alternatives to Princess' excursion offers. We'd prefer small tours, preferably 1/2 day, as two of us have mobility issues and one is diabetic. Suggestions for reliable tour companies in each of the ports would be appreciated. Time is flying! Thank you!

I have a broken ankle whose air cast should be removed just prior to sailing. I use a rollator due to a bad back. On past Princess cruises, I was allowed to bring it on the transfer boats but I've never been to the 2 ports you mentioned.

I guess I have to find a private tour to take me to the places I wish to see. Also, we arrive in Limon on December 14, a Sunday, and my understanding is the banana plantations are closed. Is that so? Thanks.

Are any of Dora's tours suited for someone who needs a rollator and someone who cannot walk long distances?

I've been trying to select excursions for the ports on the December 7 cruise. Many are labeled as NOT handicap accessible. I am not wheelchair bound but use a rollater ( a walker on wheels & with a seat). Does that mean I can only take handicap accessible tours?

We're on Princess and want excursions for Limon, Cartegena, and Ocho Rios. Only 1 or 2 are handicap accessible; the ones that aren't but marked E look like fun.

I need a rollator and/or a cane. Does that mean I can only go on "handicap accessible" excursions on our Panama Canal cruise? Does anyone know what choices are the best for someone with limited walking ability?

we, too, are taking the Island Princess through the Panama Canal. I will need a rollator when on excursions. Does anyone know whether I will be able to go on the canal trips, air trams etc. on all excursions? What does "not handicapped accessible" really mean? confined to a wheelchair?
