Thank everyone for the replied. We actually leave tomorrow! First cruise and we are excited.

It is on the pricey side, but we have found that it's not at all difficult to break even. We would never drink that much if we were paying by the glass, but we certainly enjoy the excuse to indulge. So it's a win for us, and a win for NCL (because I don't think it's physically possible to drink enough for them to lose money on you, and certainly not 7 or 10 days in a row).

 

kscjojrj, you say you will have basically 5 days spent on the ship, but out of how many days total? I would absolutely get the UBP without hesitation for a 10-day cruise with 5 sea days, but for a 21-day cruise with 5 sea days, not so much…

7 days. We have one port day that we will only spend a few hours in port.

I've done a lot of research on the UDP. I can't decide what to do. I feel like we have 5 days where we will spend the majority of the day on the ship. Not that we are looking to get drunk but it seems like if we are just relaxing by the pool and eating (what I am looking for on this trip) we may have 5-7 drinks. It always seems like I read in the boards not to get the package. I wonder if we don't get it if I will question every drink I get.

If you've gotten it did you feel you got your money's worth?
