We never fly in day of....until now. We land at two, and booked Celebrity transfers to the port. We need the reassurance that if anything gets delayed, we may have a better chance of getting to the ship on time. Gonna bite the "cattle car" bullet this one time.

Seeing as the Ship does not depart until late that evening I think taking a chance on a Taxi is more desirable to me.

We too usually go in to San Juan a day early but with Hotel issues we opted not to this time.

As to the Cattle Car remark , was not referring to the passengers , it was meant more for the fact that every time I have seen those lines at the Airport in Baggage Claim it looks like Chaos.

Going on Summit 28October and flying in day of .Does anyone know if the taxis are operating normally ?

Did not book Cruise Transfers and wondering if I should have :o .

I go from SJU often an have never taken the Transfers as they are like cattle cars .

Hoping that the Taxi service is not totally affected .

Checked on this Company and on there Website it says :

Signature Transportation

Company is suspended

I hope there were none of you that prebooked with them .

We came back on the Summit Sept 4th. There was a taxi stand about 150 ft from the building. We had the option of taxi at $65 or shuttle for $40. We took the shuttle and as a bonus were the last two seats so we left right away.

That is Great news , I keep hearing nightmares about the Taxis so I am super excited to knoe we can now hopefully grab a Shuttle .

Was the $40 for 2 people ?

Thanks , I am thinking Uber may not do it for me . My Husband is a crazy person and needs to have it pre planned . I think I need to find something and have it prebooked

I was able to book the Cruiseline Transfer for the Airport to Port , but they will not book my return transfer because they require minimum 1:00pm departure and my flight leaves at 12:00 pm . Is this too early ?

I have looked at a few transfer companies but they seem so high . I was wondering if anyone has had this experience and possibly know what a Taxi on a Sunday morning at the port would cost .

Hopefully they have some taxi's at the Port . But I am also looking for the least expensive way to get there too. I have never used Uber , but someone also suggested that as another option .
