We board this Saturday in Miami I have had no communication from them. We have a cruise in April on Celebrity and have had 2 emails from them already with all pertinent info regarding screening and refunds. MSC is SO disappointing! This can’t be their big announcement we’ve been waiting for!?

not always: I would recommend the OP just ask at guest services unless the reservation reps are right there. On the Dawn, in May they were done at the entrance or near the entrance of the Asian restaurant and on the Epic (back a bit) they were done about 1/2 down the hall at the entrance of someplace but I don't remember what.
OP, we have usually had good luck if we reserve almost as soon as we get on the ship. We do not get our exact preferred time always but within about 1/2 hour. Normally we like to book at 6:30pm
Thank you!!

Get to port earlyish, connect to the ship’s WiFi before boarding, and reserve using the app. It may not fully work until all other passengers are off.
Great idea! Thank you!!

What ship?
On the big ships, restaurant reservations are done at Headliners/The Social (Deck 6 mid) on embarkation day.
On small ships, it is done at the restaurant desk in the atrium (guest services).
On most ships, you can use the touch screen kiosks in elevator lobbies to make reservations yourself.
Prime time dining reservations sell out quickly.
Sorry, the Bliss. Reservations were never made available before hand..I think its going to be a mess. 😞

Do I run to the restaurant area ?? or...I am platinum...try to find the concierge because I have NO clue where that would be. Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Have you downloaded the app? Sometimes reservations are available on the app that aren’t on my ncl regular login and vice versa. Are you paid in full? have you entered all your information to 100% complete for checking in? Not sure but that might help too.
We were paid in full and checked in.. still no go.

Thank you all for your help. I will let you know how we did when we return.

It must just be this sailing. There is nothing available to book online and never has been, and my PCC says she is unable to get into the system to make reservations also. Not sure why this is happening. Never had this issue with NCL before but hoping to find out where or how the fastest way to make reservations will be once we get there.
-
I have been trying to make my reservations for the past few months. I started looking at 120 days out and called my PCC at 90 days. Nothing has ever been available to book for some reason. Does anyone know the fastest way to get to a place where you can make your reservations once at the port or on board? Any tips would be very appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I am looking for some advise. I am used to being able to make my dining reservations at 90 days. It has never opened up. We are now only 56 days to sailing and still nothing. The website says not available. My Personal Consultant is unable to get to them. They have never been released. I tried since the day of final payment and have been thinking they might open up soon. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I will be so disappointed if I cannot snag some Cagneys reservations!

Thank you for taking the time to do such a detailed review on your cruise! We will be boarding her Sunday so anxious to have others opinions. My Husband will not be happy if we have a warm cabin though. :-(

Oops We are doing the Horizon later this month..Meant to say the Bliss in December. Thank you!!

Just wondering if anyone has seen the new menus or better yet experienced them? Also, what nights are formal on 7 week cruises. We will be doing the Horizon out of Miami in December and would like to nail down our specialty dining dates. Thanks in advance for any help!

I had no clue about this until seeing it on the news the other night. Here is an explanation
ow often do you use the public charging USB ports to charge your phones, tablets and other devices? Do you know that such public phone chargers can secretly install malware on your device? Yes, that’s true. Public charging ports are indeed a big help when the battery of our mobile devices are drained out, and we don’t have a charger or a power bank; but on the other hand, such ports may also steal all your data by installing a malware in your device.
Public meeting places like coffee shops, offices, airport & hotel lounges, and railway stations have such public charging stations and most of us are often desperate to use them when our devices are low on power.
For those who don’t know, Juice Jacking is a kind of cyber-attack is termed where a malware is installed on your device using a USB charging port, and all your data is covertly copied.

We have been on the Vista and had the USB by the bed..Also MSC Seaside has all USB by the bedside. Thanks for all your input. I dont really understand how it works so I had no idea if it could happen anywhere you plugged in or just very public places

I am hearing that you should never recharge your phone in a public USB hub but that you need to get charge only USB cables. Is this true for the USB charge ports in your cabin? Or are they just talking about airports? Thanks!

Thank you so much for taking the time to post your review! I am really enjoying it.

Thank you for your review! We are sailing her again in a few weeks and its great to see a positive review just before boarding!
-
We saw opening day movies both times we were on the Vista.
-
Thank you So much for your review!! Glad you loved the Seaside! We do too.

Thank you for your review! We are crazy about Roy too! Enjoy the rest of your cruise !!

We have sailed out of Port Canaveral on Carnival several times. It is SUPER easy! My husband wishes we could do every cruise out of Port Canaveral. Great directions to the garage. Park and just steps to the ship.

Can you book the cabanas before the cruise or do you have to do it once onboard?
Sent from my iPad using Forums[/quote
I wouldn’t bother booking till onboard so you can see what you are getting. We never saw anyone in them. They are a open weave wicker type so not really shady and minimal privacy. Also depending on the position of the ship the sun was shining brightly into them. I was glad we hadnt tried to rent one.

We just did a YC sailing on 18 very near the entrance by the elevators. It was the quietest cabin we have ever had. Being on the 18th floor is just as nice as 16. Either way you will have the time of your life. Go for it!
March Refunds Only - is there a "big black hole"
in MSC Cruises
Posted
I am also waiting for over $3k from March. I have jumped through every hoop and got nowhere. My husband started a dispute about 3 weeks ago. I am hopeful we will get our money refunded. We took about 3 Yacht Club cruises a year and loved it! MSC will never see another Dime from us. We had cancelled cruises from Celebrity and we’re refunded in less than 30 days and Virgin Atlantic refund 2 weeks
