I was looking forward to taking the Ferry from Crown bay to Water Island when I found out that Princess will no longer be docking there.

We definitely need a beach but we are travelling with our 12 month old. I am not willing to take her on the safari taxi. What alternatives do I have (being budget friendly as well)?

Will be cruising on Dec 11. Was going to book the Lifestyle VIP Resort getaway but have been reading some posts that people have been arriving to their cabin with a cancellation notice waiting for them. Has anyone been there lately? Also, we are going with our 12 month old and it seems like the excursion price is the same as for a child 3-12 yrs. I know for a fact that All Inclusive resorts do not charge for kids under 2, so why am I being charged?

How is the food?

Room Service - on Princess I would write down all sorts of stuff and it was all honoured. Has anyone tried doing this on MSC?

I have written hot menu items on the Regal Princess menu, EVERYTHING was always delivered. This did not work on the NCL Epic. In general I found the service superior on the Regal. Can't wait for my next Princess cruise!

We went on the Regal in December and wrote in paragraphs of extras on the breakfast card. Everything was delivered and MORE! I did tip them every time, not sure if that helped. Will try the same thing on the Epic April 12th. For me, my breakfast on the balcony is sacred! Fingers crossed!

Is Norwegian Cruise Line now charging for room service?

Norwegian Cruise Line has introduced an enhanced room service menu that is debuting on board Norwegian Getaway and Norwegian Breakaway. The new menu offers an expanded selection for breakfast, in addition to a wider variety of options available 24 hours. Individual items on the menu remain available on a complimentary basis and a convenience charge of up to $7.95 will be added to each order placed (Room Service orders placed by guests sailing in Suites and The Haven will not attract a charge)*. Room service is one of up to 29 dining options offered across the fleet, and guests continue to be able to enjoy a wide array of complimentary choices onboard 24 hours a day.
