Thank you. It seems that anytime a Carnival ship is put up against another line, the other line wins! But people still seem to have fun on Carnival.

We are looking to travel as a family of 4 - two girls 14 and 11. The Glory is quite a bit cheaper. Has anyone travelled on both and can provide feedback as to whether the extra price for NCL is worth it?
Thanks you...

Thanks for the information. Is this adults only? Are you able to buy Vibe Passes ahead of time?

Has anyone been on both ships and can offer an opinion on the differences between Epic and Getaway.
Which would 10 and 13 year old girls prefer?
Is there enough room to swim in the pools?
Thank you:)

Thank you. Great review. We have only cruised once before - on Celebrity Silhouette without the kids. We are now thinking of taking the kids (11, 14) for March break next year. I have always heard that Carnival is a party ship , and not up to the quality of some of the other cruise lines. I see you have been on other cruise line. How did you find that aspect?
How was the food?
Thanks again.

We are on the Eastern itinerary which stops at St. Martins and St. Kitts. We plan to do an island tour on one of the islands and then 1/2 a beach day on the other with the other half on what we hope is a quiet ship. Does anyone who has done this itinerary or has experience with these islands have an opinion with suggestions? Thanks!

Hi there-- I have not used a US TA before , but I have used a TA here in Halifax that buys blocks of cabins and I have saved hundreds of dollars because of their discounted group pricing. We are sailing on Silhouette in March 2015 and Constellation in May 2015--- I booked both through the TA, saved over $500 with the Europe cruise (compared to celebrity pricing) and about $250 with our Silhouette sailing. Both also came with additional OBC (but not the large amounts you see with the US TA's). Well worth it.
Great Info. :D

We are booked for Aqua Class.... Are we able to eat in the MDR if we do not like the menu on a particular evening?
As an alternative, I heard from my TA that Blu has two menus: one for that day as well as a "favourites" menu. Can anyone confirm? I can't eat seafood and am a bit worried about the duck, quail etc.
Thanks for your help!

Hi -- First Time Cruisers leaving out of Fort Lauderdale. We are flying in the day before and have never been to Fort Lauderdale.. We are flying in the last weekend March 2015. There is so much information to digest in these threads. Any quick tips on:
> how to find the cheapest hotels (Holiday Inn type)
> Best way to get to the ship from the hotel (I read somewhere you can't get close and have to pull your luggage?)
> Once the Cruise arrives back we must head straight to the airport. Is taxi the best way?
Thanks and Happy New Year.

Hello -
does anyone know the exact size of the room and balcony? The information on ncl.com gives a broad range so it is not clear.
Thank you!!😀
