Are there almond croissants in the buffet with no IC?
Currently on-board. They have specialty coffees and pastries in the furthest forward part of the Horizon Court known as the Amuleto. They also have specialty coffees and pastries in the Piazza deck 5 at Good Spirits at Sea. The pastries have included almond croissants every morning (I've had a couple). But be forewarned they are not the really good ones that are on some ships and have an almond paste inside. These just have almond and sugar on the outside. Good but not the best.

PS We are also in the aft portion on deck 9 and have not realized any creaking.

change the title of this post to EMERALD instead of Enchanted please?
As a sort of confusing aside, we will be on the Emerald in 15 days and then on the Regal with you in 26 days so we will be able to give you our firsthand notes. LOL

Enchanted didn't have them in November.
Sounds like the perfect light for the closet area. On the Enchanted now and no motion sensing lights. To make matters worse the light switch for the closet turns on the overhead lights above the bed, so I keep the bathroom door open for a little dressing light so as not to wake her up. How rude would that be?

Always, always, always order flowers for my honey. Last cruise of 19 days they lasted the whole cruise with a few flowers having to be tossed around day 14. I always order from guest services. They show you pictures of the arrangements and I am more confident that they are done fresh for her.

It sure seems that we hear of way more ship issues since the restart. Propulsion issues are especially concerning, but toilet issues would not be too far behind in concern!
Latest update from the Captain:
Last night's interruption was caused by a deisel generator. He may have mention something to the effect that sometimes people and computers don't get along.
We are crossing thru the inside passage which is absolutely gorgeous country that is normally done in the dark.
We will have an added sea day tomorrow followed by a pushed back full day in Juneau, which had been scheduled for half day. We then get to Skagway a day late, and have Icy Straight Point removed from our ports of call.
We managed to cancel our whale watching in ISP, and have our car rental changed in Juneau. Time to relax and have a gin and juice.

The only time my DW and I did this was on the Star in 2016 when we did LAX-VNC and VNC-HAW-VNC in that case we did not have to get off for turn around most likely since our return was back to Vancouver not to a US port.
Â
Â
Well, that makes sense. Sounds like we will have to get off in order to process us back into the US thru immigration. Thnx for all the responses.
Jim😎
Though they could bring immigration on board to do the processing. I will let you know the results.

we had to get off in Vancouver. Â EM
Thanx, that would be unfortunate but appreciate quick response. Vancouver-Vancouver 12 day Alaska inside passage followed by a Vancouver to LA wine coast 7 day.

In the US, the coast guard requires the ship to come to a zero passenger population. Do they have the same restrictions in Canada? Will we have to get off the ship in Vancouver prior to completing our b2b?

In 2017 we were at sea on Halloween and many of the passengers and crew dressed up for Halloween. Some of the costumes were very good. I don't dress up for Halloween. I always say I'm "dressed up as a grandpa" and let it go at that but there really were some pretty great outfits on that cruise. The ship had an amazing display of carved pumpkins.
Yes Michael, you are absolutely right.

Just got an e-mail that ours are shipping. Tracker says that they are at the USPS facility in Carson, Ca. Maybe you can drive over there.

Our casino bookings are all now marked as protected whether that means anything in their system I don’t know but I check constantly around final payment. Â
Where do you look to see that they are protected?

Shipboard libraries seem to be disappearing.  she's really disappointed with this trend.
With Noro, and now covid, areas that encourage sharing are disappearing. With the availability of e-readers and such not such a bad idea. Please enjoy the new order of things.

would like to find a place where I can order a mimosa or other morning alcohol drink on the mornings that I want to start the day slower.
ordering a mimosa or other alcoholic drink at say 7AM should not be a problem at the bar next to the IC. The barista will make it for you. Saying that you want to start the day slower...... I Like your style!!!!!!  order two I'll join you and we can do sudoku before the numbers jumble in our heads.
