Hello. we get shareholder and military obc....are either of these "refundable"
Military is refundable, Shareholder is not. It will note on your booking confirmation that Shareholder is not refundable but makes no mention of Military being refundable until you're onboard and can check your stateroom account 😀

but they charged my account because I ordered it for both of us, but my wife had $40 non refundable OBC on her account, and they did not use it - so we lost it and got billed $40.
So before I assume OBC can still be used for gratuities and end up losing a bigger amount of unused OBC left for gratuities, I would like to hear from someone who has successfully used OBC for that purpose. Thx.
Don
My husband gets refundable OBC, I asked them to combine our stateroom account, that way they use up my non refundable Shareholder's Benefit for gratuities and purchases before using the refundable credits

@suzyedwere you ever able to get your Shareholder's Benefit? I'm wondering if it was due to the first responders fare? I emailed mine the end of November. I think if they're going to deny it they should at least let us know

My sister got sent to the yellow lane after a recent Princess cruise to Mexico upon our second cruise a week and a half later She said there was a lot of waiting in line by that time and they made her repeat the covid test (no charge) until another passenger in the same situation complained that it wasn't required for international travel. Another employee came along who agreed they didn't have to retest but she'd already completed her test by then. This was in San Francisco and it seemed like a lot of the greeters and other workers were new there.

Ruby level does give you an upgrade when you buy the Princess Protection insurance. I appreciate it now that I'm older and hubby has medical issues

I went to the purser's desk last week on the Ruby to ask for my platinum sticker to cover the ruby medallion they sent me. The purser took my medallion and when she gave it back to me, she had changed out the medallion to a platinum one instead of a sticker. I was so surprised since everyone on CC was reporting stickers, not an actual change out, lol.

My sister's CVS test was canceled in Sacramento, CA. By the time they emailed her, the next closest one in Walnut Creek was full so she drove 100 miles to the San Francisco CVS for her test. We've been using the Walnut Creek, CA CVS with no problems so far. I book as soon as possible to make sure I get an appointment within the required 2 day timeframe. Fingers crossed our luck holds up for our next cruise in January.

Thanks. I have the SheerID email confirmation, I will try a chat tomorrow if the TA can't get anywhere.
I'm still waiting for the email. Meanwhile I asked my PVP for help. She went ahead and held a cabin for me. She said she had to send a survey internally that would create the promo code and it shouldn't take long. Then she can apply the code once it's been created. I'm anxiously checking my emails for updates but still haven't heard back since yesterday, lol.

I posted some screenshots in response to your post on the Majestic Group Live thread.

Do they have it on the Majestic?
Yes! I asked where the Concerto dining room was for lunch and the first crew member directed me to Adagio. The second crew member corrected him and directed us back to Concerto. I still don't know where Adagio is, lol. My favorites are the Salmon, the bay shrimp and avocado salad and the orange souffle. I think this is my most favorite meal of many aboard all the cruise ships.

I was chatting with some folks at dinner tonight who said the same. They didn’t have a photo but said it was very small
My sis got one early on on this cruise. She said it was $19 and would have been better to go to Bistro sur la Mer for their lobster bisque. She was very disappointed in the size for price.
Seeing as how the roll is about the length of a french fry, I'd agree with her.

Anyone know what the next promotion will be and when it will start?
I got a California Resident email offer on Nov 5. The prices on the cruise I'm eyeing in January were $500 higher than the regular website

I emailed my pvp and she said:
...
In fact, I just heard something about a half hour ago. Evidently there was a technical issue and they are working to correct it and get emails out to qualifying guests. They advised for guests to check their email later today or tomorrow. I do know that I can make a booking and have the promotion retro-added.

did the 'no email yet' posters enter the "contest" a couple of weeks ago by email sent from Princess ?
I entered via the Princess website on Oct 20th. I didn't get an email about the contest from Princess.

Saver Fare - so may try to contact PVP to see if we can 'move some OBC from a future cruise to this one ... which some of that OBC was generated by the previous medical responders promotion.
I'd like to hear more about the previous medical responders promotion. There was another one before this? Wow, missed that

Total Testing Solutions has some free rapid test sites around LA.

When we last cruised Nov 2019 it didn't matter which cabin you had, it was just one account that we all signed in to. But we didn't have Medallions then.

I was told by Princess last week that our steward would be able to remove it for us.

I have previously always booked directly with Princess, didn't realize there was a TA discount to the fare. My dad arranged a family cruise with a big company and that TA complained about waiting on hold all day for Princess, lol. I'm not planning to use her again.
