Oooh that sounds a breeze!!....I just wanted to make the most of my time in Orlando and was worried that this could be a long process so this eases my mind!! Thank you Psycho and Barb!! 👍

It is a breeze and with you having the same room...Even sweeter.  We Love B2B's and always try and book as early as we can to be able to get the same room.

  2. The ship will take care of everything and will leave instructions in your room the first cruise.  All the B2B's will meet a certain location and the ships staff will get you all checked in for your next cruise and take through customs...Either on the ship or off the ship.  When you are all done they will give you a card a continues cruiser card that you can use to avoid the lines when you get back from spending time in Orlando.

Psycho is wasting vouchers! Tip and every single becomes a triple+.

We do tip very well...But, we have never seen a bartender over pour 3 ounces of exceptional bourbonWe had a bartender hide the last bottle of Eagle Rare on the ship for us.  Unfortunately, it didn't last the remainder of the cruise.  And yes, he was tipped very well.

  4. We have been to VIP Bamboo Beach Club and Blue Waters Beach Escape...Both come with lounge chairs and a bathrooms but the umbrellas will cost you 5 bucks if i remember right.  We started out going to the Bamboo Beach Club as it was advertised as lunch and drinks included...The drinks were a rum punch or draft beer and the food wasn't all that great and limited selection.  We heard about Blue Waters and gave it a shot...So much better, full bar and great food.  The biggest difference for us was Bamboo allowed people to walk up and down the beach constantly bugging us to buy this or that.   Blue Water had their own private security that kept the sellers off their property.   Blue Waters is our go to place and the snorkling is also great there.

Are you using the buy part of the BOGO for yourself?  The person you quoted will not be using any part of the BOGO (the buy or the get) for themselves, since they have the UDP.  So, the question is can you book the buy part for someone other than yourself?

No we didn't use it on ourselves

We use our BOGO all the time when we sail with our adult son's and their wives to buy them dinner.

As we said we used it on adult sons and wives to buy THEM DINNER..

  6. Don't think there is such a thing as a bad place on CocoCay.  We do get off early to snag a front row spot next to the water...They tend to fill up fast and you may have to sit a few rows back if you're late.  We like Chill Island...Some nice snorkeling on the other side of the rocks.

I have a slightly similar situation but haven’t been able to find an answer yet on CC.  My husband and I are also D+ but on our next sailing well have the unlimited dining package.  We’ll be sailing with 2 others who have neither.  Would we be able to go to dinner and use the 2 UDPs and the BOGO and therefore only have to pay for 1 extra dinner rather than 2?  I didn’t know if the “first” dinner had to be yourself.  I have heard we can give our drink vouchers to others but no one seemed to know about this.  We’re fine either way but it would be nice.

We use our BOGO all the time when we sail with our adult son's and their wives to buy them dinner.  It's our Diamond benefit and doesn't have to be used on just us.   When just the two of us sail, we will use it on ourselves.

  8. I copied this from WAAAYTOOO and use it all the time.

    1.  Imagine yourself standing in the hallway, and on the deck layout, find the closest set of connecting staterooms (double-sided arrow). The stateroom on the right side of the double arrows is the "right" configuration (I call that the "right" configuration b/c I prefer this arrangement AND it is located on the right side of the adjoined pair.  Just makes sense).  The stateroom on the left is the "wrong" configuration.

    2.  Then begin moving toward your cabin, alternating, right, wrong, right, wrong.  When you land on your cabin, you will know whether it is the "right" (bed by the balcony) or "wrong” (bed by the bathroom).

If you don't place yourself INSIDE the ship, in the hallway you will get it exactly backwards...so be sure that you are "counting" from the inside perspective, not the outside of the ship.  Sorry if that's confusing.  Trust me, I have made that mistake before.

  9. We have been lucky and never had to leave the ship.  We met at the specified location on the ship...Main dining room.  Royal had people come around to each table and do all the paperwork.  After about an hour they gave us, our new sea passes, and we went to leave the dining room.  A customs agent was there and looked at our passports and said have fun.  They had a security individual who scanned our old cards to sign off the ship and our new ones to sign back on.
