I'm visiting Florence via Livorno/NCL Epic on April 28. In visiting the Duomo website I see that the cathedral is closed that day. This is my first visit to Italy - can someone clarify what I'll miss seeing? The Dome, Museum, Baptistry & Crypt are all open. I'm trying to plan our trip to Florence without a tour so any insight is helpful, thank you in advance!

We wanted to do the Coba Mayan excursion but I missed booking the excursion through the ship (I think it's full, couldn't get help/info when I called Carnival, they told me to check when I got on board).

My question - it appears Coba closes at 5pm and it takes 3 1/2 hours to get there, which wouldn't leave much time there. Has anyone gone/booked this excursion and know anything about the timing? I have found private tour operators that I am also trying to get answers from but was hoping someone here would know. thanks.

Just a heads up for anyone else in Barbados Jan 21 - I just booked the Lunch Catamaran Cruise with Elegance after reading all the great reviews here and on Trip Advisor. It will be from 10am-3 pm and they advised there is still availability if you are interested!
