  1. Although I have been watching cruise videos for years I just started getting into cruise vlogs. Here are some my favorites thus far:

    1. Seas Cruisers - The Donohos (Amy and Elizabeth)

These are the gold standard as far as I am concerned. I haven't seen anything better and they have a LOT of content. Here is a link to their playlists of cruises:

    2. SheaParker - Brooke and Garrett

This is the only couple I have ever seen that MADE MONEY on a shore trip :D Great stuff

    3. iamthebosslady - Terri and Tony

My next cruise is on Carnival Dream so I really like that one. Terri and Tony are awesome too! :)

    4. Adventures of Angela and Andy

Shows you details you miss in other videos

    5. CruiseNYR

Only a couple of videos total but worth watching this young couple

    6. sarahproductions113

Great production values being it is from a 17 year old Canadian teenager

I would love to hear about other cruise vloggers I can check out?

You got any to share? ;)

    Thanks

I like Bill Raffel's videos. They've gotten shorter over the years, but they are fun and his narration is hilarious. He is a cruise critic member too.

  2. Most of that I don't have a need for, but for some reason I really like making my own Latte and drinking seconds after it was made.

Also I will be interested in the 'solo' events.

If they will let me I will drop by then.

Amazing to me, I did not even know about the solo lounge last week when I booked the cruise. My travel agent mentioned it in passing but the forum is where I go to get the real details.

Be sure to report back in to CC on your experience so we know if not getting a studio effects solo lounge access and services at all. Hope you have fun.

  3. I think the NCL solo cabins and their own studio lounge is fantastic. As a solo traveler, I tend to be by myself most of the day but would love to be able to meet people for meals and maybe a couple of excursions.

Problem is, I'm pretty claustrophobic. I honestly think I will lose it if I don't have a balcony. Honestly, I can't even deal with an inside cabin. I feel the walls caving in on me. I think those studios are just too confining.

So, if I call NCL and say I'm traveling solo, but want a balcony (I know I'd pay a supplement), will I be excluded from the solo area? I know they have a special access key, etc.

    Thanks

  4. Yes. Amtrak is always late so take that into consideration

And btw NYC is not difficult to navigate.

    Taxi from penn to port

    Simple and easy

Just do not say port authority!!! Different place totally!!! You want to go to the manhattan pier also known as the port

The port authority is a bus terminal. Lol

Sent from my iPhone using Forums

LOL. I'm glad you guys told me. I know now I want the Manhattan Pier. Easy peasy. Thanks!

  5. I am glad you posted this. I'd really love to get more info on these rooms. I've seen the RC promo of the rooms, but there aren't a lot of Youtube videos (I really like those to actually see what is going on), so I feel like I really don't know what these look like.

I'm pretty much decided that NCL Breakaway is my next cruise because there are sooo many videos of that cruise and the solo cabins, I feel comfortable.

Wish I could get more info and videos on the Quantum rooms.
