Has anyone embarked an Azamara ship in Villefranche Sur Mer?
If you have, we would very much much appreciate both positive and negative comments you may have.
It just seems to be to small a port to embark from.

Don’t apologize or change anything because one person is complaining. A thorough review of another line from a Celebrity cruiser’s perspective is welcome and appreciated. Keep doing what you’re doing. Thanks!
Agreed, please carry on and thank you !!!

We reside in the UK (we do understand the general principle of tipping) and always tip bar tenders/ servers/ cabin stewards etc but would never remove the gratuities being only too aware of all the hard working individuals behind the scenes that ensure that our cruise is a good one. We understand that the gratuities are part of what we sign up to and would not remove them. Thankfully not everyone from the UK follows your actions and do recognise the hard work that the staff put in for all of us and therefore would not penalise them because of the way that they interpret company policies.

Being from the UK we dont have the tipping culture of our American cousins. It is an alien concept to us and really rare that we tip anybody apart from giving cash to the cabin steward.
I have no qualms whatsoever in removing auto tipping and always have done on Princess and HAL, this is based on the opinion that having paid the company to provide a service, it is then up to the company to remunerate employees to provide said service to a satisfactory standard.
We use P&O a lot where its not an issue, and yes we are fully aware its in the price. We will not go with lines that do not allow us to remove tips.
And, lets face it, not all the 'gratuities' finds its way to the staff.

However, the balcony would not have been ‘sweet’ on deck 6, this is significantly smaller.

Hello from the uk and thanks to all who have posted here.
We called celebrity uk today, never expecting anything …. but not only was the phone answered after about 10 minutes but we were able to rebook our original cabin(although the category is sold out)
saving £180.00 and also received the $300 obc!!
Cruised with celebrity many times but this is the first time that we have achieved this.
Happy Days 😊Thanks again all.

Hello,
we are also in the us and wondered if we are correct in understanding that the current offer of second passenger travelling half price only applies to bookings up to May 2022, ours is October 2022. We booked with celebrity UK
Many thanks

Just called (okay 90 minutes on hold) and managed a $168 reduction on our March 2022 cruise which I booked on the USA site with $300 obc added. Unfortunately all my future cruises are with the UK call centre and the Best off Guarantee only goes up until 4th May. It is an alien concept in the UK - you take your chances with the price unless you can cancel and rebook. I will become depressed if I look at them so spitefully booked an Oceania Antartica cruise today.

Thank you so much for your reply jwlane, that is very helpful, and for the photo of the balcony -wow!!
This has helped us to make up our mind to book that cabin for next year.
Thanks again and all the best.

I can personally vouch for 12265 and 7315 on Apex, as we had both last month. Loooong balconies. Great cabins.
Hi Jwlane
thank you for your post.I just wondered whether when you were in 7315 you experienced any noise issues from Eden?
Thanks in advance

We have so enjoyed your review and the love and enthusiasm of your first cruise, it only gets better......So here’s to your next one nothing beats the sound of the ping as you board the ship -happy days. You have brightened ours during this very sad lockdown period.
With all good wishes to you and Dave and all our fellow cruisers out there - stay safe ,stay well.
