  1. We are working on this right now for our cruise in January.  We have to complere the on line arrival visa, since we start our cruise in Singapore.  It’s very stressful first you have to get the photo with the right pixel, then you have to find the port zip code.  People have complained that there isn’t anyone that can help you from celebrity with any questions. Some have rejected because you have to notify your credit card beforehand, because they flag it a fraudulent transaction. It’s a nightmare and I’m just getting my information together.

  2. We are on a cruise in January 16 - 28, 2024 from Singapore to Bali.  We enter Indonesia at Celukan Banang and we will need a visa at that point!

My question is, it states visa on arrival if not obtained on line.  We would prefer to get at the arrival port.  Most cruise start in Bali so the would automatically get at airport upon arrival.  Does anyone have any information on this.

    thank you

  3. I think everyone is looking elsewhere.  I’m done with celebrity no more calls or email to executive offices!  Like you all have said they are not listening to their loyal customers. This is over when you can’t even totally understand the program. Dead on arrival!  Previous elite member!

  4. You are right about the cumulative effect. We were on the Infinity in May 2023 and experienced the downsizing of the dinner buffet, mast grill hamburgers taste like meat loaf now, the afternoon tea and scones removed and also during our cruise the cookies were not available everyday. We asked why and they said they did not know!  We wondered at that time it was strange, but went on with our cruise.  I joked that I would have to write an email to the executive office!  Well, then this weeks news!  My point is they have been working on this for a while!  It would be nice if they would tell us what ship is doing test runs on various products, so we can opt in or out!

We just bright in our car for the annual State Inspection Sticker this week. The company we go to, an independent auto repair shop, has a Keurig coffee system, Halloween sized candies, and Otis Spunkmeyer fresh baked cookies. They have this little branded oven, which looks like a little pizza oven, sitting in the waiting area. The employees will occasionally pop in some premade cookie dough to bake fresh cookies.

  6. I sent an email to the executive offices, they called and basically said it is a pilot program and they will review at a later date to determine if the will enforce on all ships.  So, really the only thing you can do is let them know you are not happy with the new cookie program!  That will determine if we have cookies or not!

Celebrity did mention that this pilot is similar to the vaping one.  So, many complained they decided not to enforce!

  7. Yes, lemon tarts are very good!  It’s always the cookies and the lemon tarts along with an occasional ice cream!  Never any of the desserts in the ocean view cafe!

Along with the changes in the ocean view after the first of the year they also stop the afternoon tea and scones which was very nice on sea days.  So, it seems they are chipping away at the things we enjoy.  It will be lemon tarts next then ice cream!  Obviously we need to stop being so loyal and switch to another cruise line!

  8. When we were on the Summit last year the cookies were very limited!  Some days only sugar free (I don’t think so). I complained and people thought I was crazy!  In May we were on the Infinity and there were more cookies, but not like years past.  We love the cookies at night and this is a deal breaker.  I just have a real issue when you pay thousand of dollars and they now charge you for cookies.  What next cookies will one of our perks, like unlimited drinks and Wi-Fi!  I sincerely hope this is a joke!
