I was kind of kidding, but now you got me thinking. I just might do that!!!! I'll post a link to it in this thread. We fly out Saturday and on the ship Sunday. The drink ideas are definitely helping with the excitement. [emoji483][emoji484]
Please do! I would love to see it before I go. :)

That is actually a great idea! Not the writing down(but that is a good idea too) but the drinks only review.
Take pics of every drink so 2 or 3/day and 7 days worth you could review minimum 21 different cocktails
:):)
Agreed! I sail on December 10th and will definitely do this. [emoji484][emoji483][emoji485][emoji481]

Does anyone have a best drink list? With Alcohol! :)
I just started one since I couldn't find one.

we leave this weekend on the Allure. For the first time we bought the premium drink package. Since I don't have to worry about busting the budget I really want to try a bunch of different drinks. Loving these recommendations! Keep 'em coming.
What is a BBC?
Same thought here. We go in 3 weeks and want to try new stuff with our package. :)

Let's hear your favorite or must try drink (alcoholic) onboard Royal Caribbean?
I am looking forward to trying the BBC this time. :)

Anyone have the 4 night Cruise Compasses from Independence of the Seas with the Cozumel stop?
Thanks so much!!

This is an excellent summary. One small thing is that you have "All wines" under Ultimate package. I don't believe there's any difference in wines by the glass between the Premium and Ultimate packages.
You rock!! This is awesome and will help a ton of people. Thanks you!

You've asked, therefore you'll get, I can make one tomorrow and post it up here, might save a few threads of questions and be a useful tool for others
That would be amazing!

I enjoy sparkling water which you can only get with ultimate (or replenish) so for me that makes a difference between ultimate & premium, alongside the coffee and juice.
That is what I keep thinking. But then I look at the drink menu and it looks like all the drinks are included except one the elderflower one. How much are the specialty coffees on board and is it just a latte or cappuccino in the MDR?

That is a little more clear than there order page. I just wish they would tell you what the top shelf ultra premium stuff was. So I could say "yes I drink that" or "doesn't interest me".

OJ from concentrate is free for everyone at breakfast, but fresh squeezed OJ costs extra.
Indy does not have a venue called Starbucks, but serves some Starbucks products at Cafe Promenade, which are included in the package.
Thanks! That helps. Still undecided but getting more info helps. I wish they would just have a list of drink types and the columns with packages and little circles indicating if they are included on their website. It would make the decision so much easier. I don't know what I would do without this board.

The Ultimate adds fresh squeezed OJ, specialty coffee/tea, and bottled sparkling water. I believe some juices at Squeeze on the pool deck are included, but not things like protein shakes.
So the drinks you are referring to at Squeeze are included in the Ultimate not the Premium? Just getting clarification.

Trying to decide the same thing. I thought orange juice at breakfast was included for everyone or is that not correct. It ends up being 6.90 with the gratuities. I am on the Indy and I heard that do have a Starbucks that is included in the Ultimate but not sure. Also do you end up drinking much on boarding day or is there not really time. My other thing is do I just wait until the second day (at sea, international waters, no tax) to purchase and my drinks on boarding day.

Ok so does anyone know if you go for the Premium vs Ultimate other than the Starbucks (on Independence) is there really anything else to justify the $7.90 difference? I am torn between the two. Also when it says juice is the juice bar by the pool on Indy included? Thank you so much for your help.

We are driving from Michigan to Fort Lauderdale. There are 3 of us. It will cost us about 240 in gas round trip. I use GasBuddy and their trip fuel cost calculator using current gas prices and they will even recommend where you should stop for fuel along the way to maximize savings. We are also going to come in a day early so we planned on a hotel the night before (but we would do that if we flew). We will drive straight through with the husband and I switching off driving. We have a minivan so we will be comfortable. Plane tickets were $1000 total and airport parking is higher then the port parking. Purely financial.

The Starbucks question is confusing because it depends on the ship.
If you are cruising on Indy, then all specialty coffees (including those that use Starbucks coffee beans) are included in the Replenish and Ultimate packages.
Thank you so much. I am indeed on the Indy and it is my first one. I have to admit all this planning is a bit overwhelming. I would be lost without this site and you guys.

Following as I am having trouble deciding this as well. As for specialty coffee someone posted a Starbucks menu but another said that Starbucks isn't included in any of the unlimited packages. Can someone clarify as I am trying to decide if it is worth it.

Must Try Drinks
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
Ha! works for me. We could just say we are being thrifty and ensuring we get our money's worth out of the drink package.
