Sorry, should have mentioned I assume we'll likely need 2 tables (hopefully not 3). Thanks for the recommendations! We were thinking Raw on 5, but was worried about the layout.

My extended family and I will be traveling on Ascent later this year; a total of 13 of us (including a couple teens). Any suggestions on which specialty dining options might work best for a group that size (or...what ones would NOT work well)?

I'll have a group of 13 (including 4 kids aged 11-17). Looking for a private charter for snorkeling. Any recommendations? A lot that I see only take up to 12 guests.

I have a group of 13, including 4 kids aged 11-17. All private charters seem to max out at 12 guests....any recommendations that support 13 guests? ....doesn't need to be a catamaran, but looking to sail & snorkel of sorts.

I assumed 6pm was the earliest dining time; is it actually 530pm? Might switch to Anytime Dining if that's the case.

What time are the main shows on Ascent? Booking 6pm early dinner and hoping to also make the early shows.

I guess that's why I'm surprised I haven't heard anything from Celebrity yet.

So if I have an Alaska cruise departing from Vancouver this year....I should assume it's cancelled? I haven't heard anything from Celebrity yet.

Any thoughts ship-wise between Eclipse and Solstice (Seattle vs Vancouver doesn't impact me much)? Narrowing down 2022 anniversary options!

I understand that at the present time Eclipse is still scheduled for refurbish in April before the May Alaska sailing season starts. First Celebrity & first Alaska for us. I HOPE!
Is that refurb date still accurate? I haven't seen anything beyond "soon".

Hi! Taking the family, to include two grand babies (7 and 4 yo) to Nassau and Coco Cay in January. The cruise docks at noon and is there for twelve hours. Looking for suggestions as to what will keep the kids entertained in Nassau.
I'm thinking the water is going to be cool and with winds, it may not be an option for us to go diving/snorkeling. Has anyone used Cheryl's private tours?
It's been 45 years since I've been to the island so I'm sure things have greatly changed.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
We're in a similar situation, heading with a 5 and 3 y/o in December...what have you narrowed down to so far?

Thanks to you both. My mind was needlessly stuck on "we need a balcony" and that the balcony rooms are typically larger that I didn't even consider two interiors instead. But, I think you're exactly right...much more room, privacy AND extra bath makes the decision easier.

Thanks Bob. So when choosing one of the two configurations, is the "main bed" still the same...the only difference is whether the sofa is able to pull-out into a bed?
As a side note, I may just get two connected interior rooms for about the same price of the balcony (more room in the end).

I understand having two twins pushed together for a "Royal King" (which I assume is a twin-convert), but what is a "sofa-double" configuration?
I am looking to book a trip for my wife and I along with our two children (4 and 2). If I can get a good deal on a JS or similar, we'll definitely look at that...but right now for budget, focusing on the Balcony rooms. What are the best configuration options?
Thanks,
JC

I apologize as this seems to have been discussed on threads before, but there never seems to be a consistent answer. It seems different ships have different hookups, but even for just the Equinox answers seem to conflict.
Anyone recently been on the Equinox and confirm the hookup to the TV (e.g. HDMI, DVI, etc)? Did you need a special remote and/or code...or just unhook the main Celebrity cable and hookup using that port?
We don't plan on watching much TV, but would be nice to relax and have the option. I'll be an an Aqua class cabin if that matters.
Thanks,
JC

I get that TA's can offer additional perks (generally OBC obviously)...but with "group rates," can it be where they actually offer a LOWER fair than X website?
-
Happened to me as well. Clicked through the 123Go special page, put in my state of residence (as requested), and booked a room. Then noticed that by putting in my residency the website "graciously" decided to give me a better residence rate than the 123Go promotion...but at no point told notified me of the change. I called and they tried telling me the website decided it was a better deal and I said I disagreed...they offered my $400 OBC, but ended up canceling and booking through a TA.
The TA made it very clear I had two options, residence rate or 123Go rate...and I got to decide what I thought was the best value (123Go given my liver requirements).

Speciality Dining for Large Group

We're generally a pretty quiet group, but worth keeping in mind when split up.
...what's the easiest way to book a large reservation like this? Should we call once reservations open up? (we have concierge rooms...which I know, doesn't really give you much.)
