  1. We bought it once and would not buy it again.  The internet, Chops lunch, and key disembarking were the highlights.  We were mocked and made to feel bad by others in the main line for staff creating a Key line after we asked. about where the line was for us to get off the ship.  Maybe the line issue has gotten better.  We did not use the rock climbing, surf rider, zip line.. etc...times were set at 8 and 9am not good times.

  2. My husband and I purchased the drink package.  We thought we could make our own wine tasting experience at Vintages by pouring small samples from the dispensing machines under the $13 drink package max.  Several samples each later, each costing between $11 and $13 dollars, we discovered the dispensing machines are not included in the drink package.  Not a huge amount but a waste since the drink package is already spendy.

  3. Just got back.  Loved the beach club.  There is a beach right in front of the pool.  You can chose a chair on the beach, a bed in front of the pool all are first come first serve.

  4. On my cruise I have noticed they are using the same starting list price for each sale.  When they post the sales it says 20% less than onboard prices(percentage varies per sale) So examples......

We will say onboard price is $81 per day for these examples.

    20% off onboard prices -

$81 * 0.80 = $64.80 round up so sale is $65 per day for deluxe drink package

Buy one get one 50% off.  (RC  gives you 25% off each package)-

$81 * 0.75  = $60.75 round up so sale is $61 per day for deluxe drink package

    30% off onboard price-

$81 * 0.70 = $56.70 round up so sale price is $57 per day for deluxe drink package

I know the $81 may not be the actual onboard price but they seem to be consistent with using this same value for each sale.

  5. My husband and I are booked on Harmony of the Seas next year and I am looking a pre-booking several things.  I noticed a couples Thermal Suite package in our cruise planner but the description is very vague.  Does anyone know what the Thermal Suite is/includes?   I did a subject search and didn't find this question asked before sorry if it is a repeat.

going from inside, OV or balcony to JS or higher you do not get double C and A points on the bid up program.

From what I have read no you get the existing booked level of points which isnt a big deal to me.  We go on a cruise every so often because we live on the west coast.

Why would they offer a suite through the upgrade program if they can sell it outright for regular price?  The program is really to help them sell unsold cabins.

I am happy to pay for the royal up.  I am just saying I am excite that it is a possibility to royal up and pay less than you would normally pay for the upgrade.

  8. I am glad you got it straightened out and they refunded the money. I have a separate account that I use strictly for vacations. It has its own debit card and it has worked well for me in the past.

    That is another good idea.
