  1. Thank you, Xixo. We took the Quick Shuttle some years ago and found it quite easy. I was looking at options when I read here about the Bolt Bus as an possibility for some folks and wanted to add the info above. I wasn't familiar with that Bus before.

There's always a bit to juggle, i.e. flight times, cost of flights from Vancouver vs Seattle and the cost of luggage, and the cost and time spent traveling to Seattle. I'm still working out the details for our family.

The more information, the clearer the choice, so thanks to all!

  2. I'm with Killington. At first I couldn't find any 79-- rooms on the deck plans. The highest seemed to be 7212 on the Infinity. And then I found them mid-ship across from the big elevators. I guess elevator traffic and bells didn't create any problems. Yay!

  3. In researching our transfer from Canada Place, Vancouver to SeaTac airport, I found some information I wanted to share about the Bolt Bus some folks may not know.

The Bolt Bus is a line owned by Greyhound, only running mostly direct routes between cities. They only make reservations 4-6 weeks in advance.

In Vancouver, it departs 1.58 miles from the cruise port at Pacific Central Station. That's a bit of a ways to haul luggage.

In Seattle, it arrives in the downtown area near the Chinatown Station, 13 miles from SeaTac airport.

The prices seem to vary. Since I can't see prices more than 4 weeks ahead, I'm not sure what it will cost in June, however the 4 Sundays I could see prices for varied from $14 to $23 at the mid-morning time (compare to Quick Shuttle's $59 and an economy rental car one-way without discounts of $200).

Since the departure and arrival locations aren't where we will need to be, it doesn't work for our family, however it may work for someone else.
