My family also booked this cruise early in 2020. We did the Southern Caribbean Journeys cruise from Baltimore on the Pride in 2019 and loved it. I too noticed the last time i checked the Carnival website that it was no longer showing up.

Does anyone know where the self service laundry rooms are located on the Pride?
The only one i remember specifically is on DECK 1 around the corner of the Mid Ship elevators.
There are a few others scattered throughout the ship but i can't remember exact locations of them all.

my real question is why bother taking the kids on the cruise if you are trying to use them as a babysitting service? Has to be cheaper just to leave them at home
Why bother using any amenity that is included in the fare you paid for?

This is from the FAQ's on Carnivals website:
Traveling with Minors
When traveling with a minor where one parent or both parents or legal guardians are not cruising, we strongly recommend bringing an original signed letter from the absent parent(s) or legal guardians authorizing the minor to travel with you. If there is no second parent with legal claims to the minor (due to sole custody, deceased, etc.) other relevant paperwork, such as a court decision, death certificate, birth certificate naming only one parent, would be useful to bring in place of a signed letter. This will expedite processing by the Department of Homeland Security.

On our cruise on the Legend in early February the camp supervisor told us they would remain open all day on port days and feed the kids lunch if the adults wanted to explore in port without them.
I can't confirm that since we always took our daughter off the ship with us but that is what they told us.
The limited hours with no meals were only on sea days.

good luck getting that free drink. i read some posts where some people had issues with getting it
As of our last cruise, early February on the Legend, we still got the last day free drink without any problem.

I had submitted for my January cruise about 6 weeks in advance and was denied. Found out too late about trying to resubmit so never did for that cruise.
My next cruise is in May so i went ahead and submitted at the end of February. I figured that way i would have time to resubmit if i were denied. About a week ago i got my email that my OBC was approved on the first try......Go figure.

When we sailed on the Legend in Early Feb. the camp was open on Sea Days from 9am - 12pm, closed for lunch, 2pm - 5pm , closed for dinner 7pm - 10pm close.
So basically they opened for 3 hour blocks throughout the day/night and usually had an hour of free time, an hour of craft time , an hour of game time. The last night they had a farewell party with games and prizes. Also i recall one movie night.
They did say while in port if the kids were to remain on the ship they would stay open and feed them lunch/dinner but we always left the ship and took our daughter with us so we never did that.
All the activities, at least on our trip/ship, they stayed in the Camp Ocean area.

We have walked to Junkanoo with our 10 year old daughter on two separate cruises. Easily walkable! Fort Charlotte isn't much farther either but they still were not open as of the beginning of this month.

If you follow this link to Carnivals site then click on the "Return to Service FAQ" tab it has info on testing.

I think RCI is doing the best they can do under the circumstances.
Nobody is being forced to do anything.
You can choose to voluntarily divulge vaccination status or not . Either way if you want to cruise, you may.
The protocols are there in black and white and you can choose to sail with them, or not.
I like to have choices!

We booked a January, 2022 7 day and a January, 2023 14 Day Journeys Cruise both on the Legend. Keeping our fingers crossed for 2022
We already had our October, 2020 Bermuda cruise cancelled and will be using our future credits from that toward one of these cruises.

I am reading through tons of reviews from people who have taken tours through various companies while at St. Lucia, but no one seems to share what the cost was! Our first choice is Solomon Water Taxi and Tours but we are open to other options. We are travelling on Carnival Pride on the 2 week Journeys cruise in January 2019 and want to start booking excursions. Looking for recommendations for tour companies and how much it cost per person. Thanks in advance!

Hi all! My husband and I will be sailing on this cruise with our 12 year old daughter. We have never sailed out of New York or to Canada. Most of our cruises have been out of Baltimore. Really looking forward to this ship, the pictures were beautiful! We are from PA and will be driving to the terminal the day of the cruise, just need to figure out parking now.
