The two companies that deliver scooters to the ship are Scootaround and Special Needs Group. You can find either of them by just searching for the company name in Google. I have used both of them multiple times. Scootaround is easier to contact by telephone if you have a problem but I think Special Needs does a better job of maintaining the scooters and making sure that the scooter they deliver has a battery that can hold a charge all day. They both supply scooters than can fit through cabin doors but, as other posters have pointed out, cannot get around beds that are close to the cabin door.
Thank you for the comparison. I will probably call Special Needs at Sea because of their consideration in keeping equipment well serviced so there are no breakdowns.

I would need to rent a scooter on Harmony of the Seas. How does that work? Must it be kept in my cabin and will it fit through the cabin door. There are no handicap cabins left. Thank you.

Does Royal offer yoga classes onboard their ships? TY

Does RCI offer bus service from Fort Lauderdale International to Miami Sea Port.

Hoping to create some kind of central location for people who have successfully status matched, feel free to update with your experience. Please try to keep it in order so that it's easy to find.

Column 1 is the place you have your non-MSC status, Column 2 is the level of that status, Column 3 is the MSC status that was matched to.
As I understand
Hilton Diamond = Gold
Marriott Gold = Silver
Anyone matched from IHG Platinum who can shed some light on what that matches to?
Thanks.
Princess Cruises Elite level -Diamond (which I cant find on MSC web site???)

I just had to change my health insurance also, as my past employer terminated our coverage. It was very difficult and frustrating to find health, dental, drug and vision insurance. I preserved and did it. I also am waiting for the Covid vaccine. I was wondering if the cruise lines will require proof. I am also a solo traveler. Can't wait to get back to cruising.

The Refreshment package is back to $20 today! This is the best I've ever seen it except for Black Friday.
Which ship and which sailing. I just check my Allure said date and it is still 30.00

Thank you for the info. I usually sail of Princess or Royal. I want to try Holland. If you can give me any hints on finding lower single fares, I would appreciate it. 🙂

I just check the Princess website and their same package is currently 19.99. I will wait a bit as Royal should match it soon.(Hopefully)

Typical prices on Allure are around $50 and anything in the $40s is considered a great price. My current Allure bookings show $53/day. If you ever see a lower price you can always cancel and rebook it (although credit card will take a few days for cancelled amount to show up).
This is for the non-alcoholic package; water, soda, coffee, juice. the deluxe alcohol pkg is 67.00. I think the non-alcohol should be 20-25. I may try your suggestion of buying it now and then cancel and buy if it goes lower. I hope that will work. thanks

I just booked the Allure for 01/22/2022 and want to purchase the Refreshment Beverage package. I am a solo sailor and must pay the full amount for my cabin as they charge a single supplement (i.e. 2 in a cabin costs 3000.00 or 1500.00 each. I must pay the whole 3000.00.) So, I need to save money where I can. Right now it is 30.00 a day. Please let me know if you find it on sale for a less amount. I will be also checking for it. Thanks.

I need help. When I am attempting to plan my own cruise on a HAL ship, I can not locate the screen that allows me to choose a specific cabin, i.e. Deck 8 Cabin VA8095. It just tells me my cabin details will be given to me before I sail. On Royal Caribbean, I am allowed to select a specific cabin so i know where I will be on the ship. Does anyone know how I can select a specific cabin on HAL ship BEFORE I am asked to pay for it????? Thank you.

thank you for that detailed info.

Just found out that my iPhone 5C does not accept ISO 11 which is needed for downloading the RC App for family communications. Therefore, I need to purchase walkie talkies for the ship. Anyone have any experience using walkie talkies on cruise ship, i.e. Allure? What brand works the best? Thanks.

What are the brands of bottled water and where do you get the premium coffees and teas? Thanks.

New to Carnival but have sailed on many other cruise lines. On 1/31/16 I booked a cruise on the new Vista for 1/22/17. A whole year in advance. I was not aware of their NONREFUNDABLE deposits. When I called Carnival to book the cruise, no one told me it was a NONREFUNDABLE deposit. Today I learned that I could not go on the cruise in Jan.2017. I figured it is still 7 months away and I would get my deposit back. Final payment was not due until 11/2016. When I called to cancel today I was on the phone for an hour and a half trying to get my deposit refunded. NO WAY IN H___ were they going to give me my money back. They said they are not responsible for the Carnival rep who took my booking, not telling me it was NONREFUNDABLE. I tried to run my request up the ladder, but they wouldn't do that either. I asked for the name of the president of Carnival and she said it was Ronald Donald. I guess I will write him a letter, as no one wants to discuss this with me. I am very disappointed in Carnival and will never sail with them again unless we can resolve this dispute.

I will be on the Anthem of the Seas stopping in Bar Harbor, Maine. Does anyone have suggestion for restaurant for a typical lobster bake dinner? Thanks.

Hey all,
Here we go again!!
Since the previous thread was soooo long, I am starting anew!
Feel free to ask your Cape Liberty and even NYC questions here!
Now that we have Quantum, and soon Liberty and then Anthem, not to mention Summit for a while, and a couple stops by Serenade, things should remain busy!!
Hi, I am sailing on the Anthem from Port Liberty in Oct. 2016. I will be driving so I need a safe place to park my car. I have read the other comments on this but did not see any for parking at Newark Airport and taking shuttle/taxi to ship. Does anyone have info on this or any ideas? Thank you.

Was able to get ahold of Godfrey Tours and booked with him as several on this board have recommended him..will review upon my return.

Thank you all for your info. Helps greatly.:)

I use a walker and like to avoid crowds. Does anyone know how early you can board the Allure? I was thinking about getting to the port early. Thank you.

I have sailed on both Carnival (always has best price) and Royal Caribbean. I prefer RC as the quality is much above that of Carnival. RC gives great service on board and in ports. RC was clean and dining choices and food so much better. I am cruising on RC Allure next week!

Bernard's Tours is in St. Maarten. I am sailing 2/1/15 and in St. Thomas 2/4 -can't find a tour. Air Force 1-Have Fun with Us Tours is fully booked. I have emailed Godfrey's Tours, but have not received a reply?? Guess it will have to be a taxi or ships tour.:(

My circumstances exactly. I agree with cabins for just scooter needs. I posted this on Facebook and people laughed at me. I let it roll off my back as they don't walk in my shoes and I've heard Karma is a *****.
