I agree. We are booked on Carnival Miracle for a 10 day Alaska on May 3, 2021. We have had 3 cancelled cruises this year and just have to go with the flow. We choose to remain positive and hopeful. If they cancel, we'll adjust accordingly.

I just realized that this thread is several months old. 🙂

We've just booked for May 2021 too and are feeling good about it. There is no point feeling negative about things and what will be, will be.

I don't think many industries will survive 12 months of zero operation so I have a feeling we will know the companies (holiday, flight, hotel) ect which are going to survive the pandemic well before next May.

  3. Here's how we look at it... you are allowed 15 alcoholic drinks in a 24 hour period. We will easily hit that with a couple of mimosas and maybe a bloody mary in the morning, a couple fruity drinks/beer by the pool, wine with dinner, then we spend quite a bit of time in the casino at night. With the gratuity that is added to your package (18%) that comes out to roughly $4.00 per drink per day (7 day cruise). On top of that we get unlimited bottled water, sports drinks, specialty coffee, milk shakes and fresh juices. It is a no brainer for us. If you only plan to have only a couple glasses of wine or a fruity drink per day at $11.00 and order a 12 pack of water ahead of time for your room, it wouldn't make sense.

    Hey don't judge! We're on vacation!!! 🙂

That is a good point, I wonder if my wife gets the free drinks everywhere... I know when I've had these offers in the past that included the standard Drinks on Us (casino only), my wife always received a card as well so I just assumed she would get this too but I actually don't know..

As for taxes, I'm not 100% sure but I'm thinking we did NOT have to... The government taxes/fees on this cruise came out to $135 per person which I think is too low to have included tax on a cheers style package.

Even if it doesn't cover my husband, the $500 casino credit will off set his drink package. We are going to book the Pride to Bermuda in October. Too good of a deal to pass up. We'll be sure to get trip insurance just in case.

There is usually a table set up in the piazza close to where you embark where you can sign up for the beverage package. Last time I had to buy a package, I did it at Vines and I’ve also done it at a table that was set up next to the International Cafe.

Thank you so much! We usually buy it before hand but we want to use our OBC.

I've never seen the beverage package be any cheaper once you've boarded the ship.

Actually I was wondering if it was more expensive once we board the ship. We have OBC and would like to use it to help pay for the drink package. :-)

  7. I've been checking every day and the couples package for the enclave spa seems to either be sold out or not available. Can someone tell be if we will be able to book this once we are on board? We will likely take a tour. Also, we are new to Princess.

  8. We are new to Princess and want to book a couples Thermal Suite package for the week but I can't find it on the website. They only have the singles package. Do we have to wait to book on board for the couples package? Also, does anyone know how much it costs?

    Please and thank you!!

  9. For the past several cruised we have either had Premier boarding or FTTF. This trip we do not have either. We have an arrival appointment from 12 to 1230 (boarding zone B02). The hotel we are staying at has an "early to the ship" shuttle from Orlando to the port. My questions is if we are there early can we try to board before our appointed time? For some reason I remember there being an early or late line. Please and thank you!!!
