I will be sailing Conquest in Feb. 2016. Are there any unlimited drink packages or vouchers available on this ship?

I have booked this ship for next February 2016. The brochure that I am looking at says that the Conguest has been newly enhanced. I am assuming this is an older ship so I would be interested if the ship is showing some age and/or the enhancements that were made were nice ones. I would also like to know if it was difficult to communicate with the ships personnel. Most of them are from other countries. I just returned from the MSC Divina and it was very difficult to communicate with the staff. I would also like to know how fast your embarkment process was (how long of a wait to get onto ship and into your cabin). thanks:)

We ordered Ice water in a large Ice tea glass and got Ice Tea in a small glass. We ordered ice water and they brought us coffee. When you ordered hot tea, sometimes they would bring you tea bags with hot water, which that was correct, and the next time you got hot water and needed to ask for the tea bags.

Most meals they never asked you what you wanted to drink. Not sure what the languages were but I'm Italian and I did not come across a Italian speaking person. We experienced this with all meals, with each change of people sitting at our tables. Everyone at the tables we sat at found it amusing.

It was the 1st Vegan cruise for us and the Vegan group was fantastic! All in all the cruise was great. Like I said earlier that was the only complaint I could think of.:)

Just returned from MSC Divina. The ship was beautiful. The embarkment process was the fastest I have ever experienced and so was Dis-embarkment (15 min. tops). I only have one complaint... the language barrier in the Black Crab was terrible for Americans. We were almost at the point of drawing pictures. I work with many people with different languages and never had that much problem with communication but this was painful. I was part of the Vegan group so I did not get to choose what cruiseline and I do not plan on booking this cruise line again.

Other cruises have many different languages on board but this one was the most difficult to understand what they were saying. Some crewmembers were nice and helpful and others seemed rude.

BUMMER....I was soooo looking forward to the Michael Jackson performance.......:(

I forgot one other question.....Is there also somewhere to lock up your belongings during the water portion of the horseback ride (cameras, cruise information, clothes)?

I was wondering if someone can answer my questions regarding the horseback ride and swim excursion. Is there a changing room/bathroom available to switch from bathing suits to riding clothes? If your taking the ship excursion I would imagine they get you back to the boat on time???

How much do they charge for drinks? We are leaving on the Divina next week. Can't wait:D

My husband and I both had to do renewals this year along with that I needed a name change. This only took 2 weeks. 10 years ago it would take longer and they advised us to do priority mail. So it has gotten faster over the years

I will be sailing in Feb. 2016 and need to select a balcony cabin. I have never sailed Carnival before so I could use some advise on cabin selection.

I would like to be able to choose one instead of having them assign one. A balcony is a definate and it will be my 1st balcony experience. Anyone have a favorite on this ship?

I have booked drink package with MSC web-site and it took my credit card information and I am assuming that my drink package is booked. Should I be getting a confirmation or do I need to wait until I get on board to see if it is actually booked? Is there someway to see what I have already booked? My cruise is still 4 weeks out so I would rather fix now if I can.

How was the hair dryer? Still wrestling with bringing my own.

This is my first experience on a MSC cruise. Can anyone tell me if there will be two formal dining eveings? What is considered formal? Anyone else sailing on the 14th?
