Thank you, you've answered a lot of unasked questions. I'm going to continue reading, and yes I intend taking up all your advice to have lots of fun and enjoy. I've read some stuff about shower curtains and tiny shower cubicles so I'm off to look for some info on that and a host of other things.

Thank you all, I think I will opt for the buffet. I am curious though, I was offered two dining options when I booked- ATD or fixed time, so I chose ATD. Why is the buffet not listed as an option?

Thank you to all posters, invaluable tips. I'm piggybacking here, as I'm also a first time cruiser (coral princess Alaska northbound Voyage of the Glaciers).
Is there a dress code for ATD at dinner time? While we don't wear slops and shorts ,do we have to dress formal? The reason I chose ATD was so I wouldn't need to dress formally. My cruise follows a Rockies road trip and I do not fancy lugging formal wear for 2 weeks prior to cruise. Thank you

Hi everyone;
Thank you to all for the sharing.
I've never cruised before, and have booked my first cruise on Coral Princess , Vancouver to Anchorage.
I've read about people purchasing water to take on board cruise ships.
Does Coral Princess have safe; free; drinking water? If not,would I need to buy this on board? Or is it permitted to buy it before I board? Is there a restriction on how much I can take? [i read that alcohol is restricted ; I don't drink alcohol so this does not apply]
Thank you
