I was leery of getting on a ship this large. Turns out I loved it!!! So much to do and see on the Oasis. I even did the stand up Flow Rider, Rock Wall and the Zip Line. Not bad for an old broad.

When you return from your cruise -- please write a review. I will look for it on the RCI board.
I absolutely loved this ship. High energy, with something going on all the time! My ONLY complaint is that the elevators were always stifling hot.

In 17 days we will be on one of the mega ships. We have done many cruises, but none as huge as the Allure of the Seas. I am nervous that I won't like it. I am looking for comments (good or bad) on what to expect and any useful tips.

Here are the dresses I will be wearing on our cruise in May. I bought the purple one yesterday at our local Younkers dept. store. It was originally $298 and I got it for $26.25! It was on the yellow dot rack - meaning an extra 80% off the lowest marked price of $147. One catch, the dress smells like smoke and mild BO as someone apparently wore the dress and returned it! Do you think dry cleaning will get the smell out??
The black dress I purchased 2 years ago at the same store on sale for $60.

I love getting ready for a cruise. It's part of the fun! 3 weeks before we go, I usually have a "fashion show" for my girl friends. I have wine and muchies out for them and I model my cruise, while they decide what is thumbs up or down. We have a fun time.

Come on people, be honest. Buy the minutes and be done with it. We buy 100 minutes at a time and I don't begrudge them a dime.

Are taxis readily available at the cruiseport? We are coming in on Mariner of the Seas next spring and want to make it over to the Miracle Garden.
