Thank you all for the information and suggestions. We are looking forward to this trip. It will be our first time to Seattle!

We are a group of 7 adults cruising in August 2024. One person has limited mobility, only able to walk ~100 yards.  We are flying into Seattle 2 days prior to cruise.

We will need the following transportation:

-Airport to a Downtown Hotel

-Downtown Hotel to Pier 91

-Pier 91 to Airport

I would appreciate transportation suggestions from those familiar with the Seattle Pier 91 layout- pickup/drop off.

On previous cruises from FLL we have used Uber/Lyft for transportation and found it very convenient and economical.

Looking at the Pier 91 terminal map it sems the rideshare pick up area is away from the terminal.  Is that also where the rideshare drop off is located?

Recently sailed on Ascent adjoining IV across from elevator. No issues with noise from the hall or adjoining cabin.

Once on board we were advised reservations would not be honored for ATD and the Apex wasn't doing early or late TD either. MDRs open at 5:30. We showed up every evening at 6 and were able to get the same two top table each evening with no waiting. We elected to go to the same MDR each evening. 

 

 

We booked the Edge on 18 March 2023 while on the Apex. Our Edge cruise is September 2024.  I was able to book ATD, 6:PM in our CP when we returned home. Go figure. 

Thanks for sharing your experience. We were on Ascent in Jan and had reservations each night on that cruise. However there was not a separate line for those with reservations so I am not sure that it really mattered. As you said-Go Figure.   Just happy to be cruise planning!

We are booked Feb 1 2025 on Apex with Anytime dining. I am not currently able to make main dining reservations. What is the timing that I might expect to see this open?  I know that I do not NEED reservations but I WANT to make them for our group. I previously made dining reservations for a cruise on Edge 11.5 months before sailing. 

We are on 1/28 Ascent. Made all MDR reservations a few months ago on the computer website- cruise planner. I have found the information on the app to be limited. 

We are cruising in Jan. How do I sign up for Go Green?

What is the timing to select the port arrival window?   Is it available as soon as checkin opens up on the app?

Our Alaska cruise out of Seattle has the last evening in port at Victoria BC from 5:30 pm until midnight. Anyone have experience with this and could tell me what time you had to put luggage outside the cabin?  Wondering how this is coordinated if guests are off the ship in port. 

Thanks for the workaround. I guess we will ask at a few different bars and see what happens. 

I understand that I can pay the upcharge at the martini bar to get an espresso martini.  Are there options to get one at another bar with the classic drink package?

We were on this trip as well and had a family in our group for later boarding. They walked right on with us and no one said a word, we had 11am slot and all our group was checked in by 10:30 and onboard by 11am. 

We had an early flight and it all worked out great.

Glad you enjoyed your cruise on Brilliance. I have a question about embarkation at port of Tampa. We have 12:30 arrival time and would like to meet friends before boarding. Do you think that we could check in earlier and wait/ watch for them in the terminal or will we be in a queue outside the terminal?  I am not sure when they will be arriving to the port. We will be arriving early and parking at the port.

We are staying at the Crowne Plaza Hollywood Beach 1 night prior to our cruise. Can anyone tell us approx. taxi fare FLL airport to hotel and taxi fare hotel to Port Everglades? Thanks so much!

Looking for 1 night pre cruise, walking distance to restaurants. nice breakfast. Any comparison of these 2 hotels would be helpful. The reviews on trip advisor are a mixed bag.

Thank you everyone. I was leaning toward FLL vs Miami as well. I just wanted to confirm that Cococay was not worth the switch over Labadee.

Looking for opinions, pros and cons for the following:

Western Caribbean...

Reflection, Port of Miami to Cococay

or

Silhouette, Fort Lauderdale to Labadee

We have been to Labadee and liked it a lot- esp the cabanas

All other ports are the same for both cruises

Can you book an inside cabin on board and get one of the promotional offers such as drink package or must you book a higher category cabin to be eligible?

I would like some information from anyone who may have recently used the SkyClub with Delta at the FLL airport. Where is it located and is it worth finding? We will have a few hours to before our flight. Do they offer a selection of breakfast snacks, bagels, yogurt etc? Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks Geema. I looked up your cabin # and you had a hump JS. I hope that our reg JS has a lounger. That would be a real treat. Was your small table low to the ground like a side table or could you pull a chair up to it and set a plate down on the table. I am so excited!

Thanks. Looks nice. It appears that you had an aft JS on Jewel. Hoping someone in reg JS on Navigator can confirm that it has been upgraded as well! This is our 1st JS and I am looking forward to the extra space and the tub in the bathroom.
