  1. Keep the reservation number the same, and transfer the booking to the other ship. This way you keep your onboard booking obc. I've done this multiple times. The obc follows the reservation number.

Thank You very much for this info, we will give it a try.! :):)

  2. My husband and I booked a cruise last January for a cruise in Jan 2016.We booked it while on a cruise so we got a little incentive but other than that the only other discounts were that we were over 55 and Platinum. We found a cruise that we would prefer to go on, however it sails at the same time as the one we booked. SO QUESTION, we got $400 in shipboard credit so if we cancel and go with the other cruise do we lose the credit? Obviously we will check with our TA, but I'm impatient and want to see if anybody has thoughts now.

  3. This may seem like a silly question, but I'm going to ask it anyway. We are looking to book a cruise last min but the only balcony left is a D6. My question is what really is the difference in the room between the categories. (D1, D2, D3, D4 and so on). Is it location, balcony size or what? I can't seem to locate the answer on the RC website.

    Thanks.

    Sandy:)

  4. My husband and I will be traveling to Barcelona in Oct. to sail on the Allure on a transatlantic cruise.

Anybody have any suggestions for a hotel? We would like to stay in Sant Antoni, El Raval or in that vicinity. We don't want to spend a fortune and if possible like to keep the nightly rate for 2 around $150.00 US dollars for a clean nice place. Any comments would be appreciated, our first trip to Spain.

  5. Can you please tell me if and where the "Suites Only" area is for the pool? My husband and I sailed on the Independence of the seas in January and that area was off of the 11th deck up towards the Pool bar. On our upcoming trip on the Allure next January we upgraded to a grand suite and are looking forward to not having to look for a seat. Thanks :)

  6. Thanks to all the responses. I am really not to worried about getting sea sick but I never thought about the Allure being more designed for warm weather. The comments regarding inside seating, are you saying that it feels crowded or that if you want to enjoy the view you wont find a spot? We have already booked the Allure for the Caribbean sailing out of Fort Lauderdale 1/31/16 and have always wanted to do a TA, SOooo thought this would give us a chance to see the ship before Jan and enjoy the time at sea. I would assume layering would be appropriate for this trip.:)

  7. My husband and I are looking at a cruise on the Allure of the Seas leaving from Barcelona, Spain in October and arriving at Fort Lauderdale. Anybody have any input at to the potential roughness of the seas? I know that there is really no way of knowing for sure about storms, however is there a better time of year or is it all about the same? I have only been on one other cruise and although the water was slightly rocky I didn't have any problems.
