I just called in and the agent said that Splash Academies are set to reopen on June 1st.
I wouldn’t hold your breath. I was assured that they were opening April 1st for drop off and would be available during on April 3rd Breakaway cruise on 3/30. I then received the mentioned letter with the $100 arcade credit on 3/31.

540 days till Escape

Try Hollywood, only 10 minutes south of FLL.It's between FLL and Port Miami so you won't be travelling in the wrong direction at any time.
Many options in the area. I would recommend Circ Hotel, it is brand new and has a Publix right next door so it's very convenient for any last minute purchase.
Thank you! I will check that out!

We are flying into FLL due to price. Landing around 10 pm Friday night for a Saturday cruise. Trying to decide if we just want to stay close to FLL airport and catch an Uber the next day to POM or would you head to POM Friday night?
Traveling with a 6 year old, so the option of getting him into bed sooner rather than later has be leaning towards staying near FLL airport.

If I recall, if the adult 18-20 year old is guest # 1 or #2 in the room their soda package can be upgraded on board to corks and caps. You need to go to guest services upon boarding and pay the service charge and sign permission slip. Doug does it for his daughter on cruises, check out his lives.

Thank you Doug and Sue! I've really enjoyed this Live, I did price Encore but can't justify the cost considering we are cruising on Bliss in March 2019.
-
Thanks so much for doing this live! I'm enjoying following all three along.

As long as folks on either side of you have $1s then you are still in it. CCC would have been much worse.
Good luck- we love this game and play it a local social club bar on the pool table occasional.

Thank you! That's good to know, my younger son will by 7 by the time we cruise and I am sure he will want to go but won't be old enough to drive but hopefully to ride along with either Mom or Dad. I will cross my fingers for riders for short guys, I wasn't concerned for my almost 21 year old 6 foot tall son :)

Just in case someone else searches for information, we booked 14049 B4 category Family Balcony. Even though it was just the two of us the location was amazing. Close to stairs and elevators and one floor below pool/garden cafe. The balcony was huge!!! After speaking with our room steward he brought a lounger the morning after embarkation when he made up the room, I loved having that available!!!

NCL social media is aboard now and starting to post some photos:
What happened to the blue karts? Are these red ones temporary?
I don't know why I thought that the Bliss had two seater cars.

We just booked on Bliss the other day, sailing March 23, 2019 out of Miami. I am super excited and can't wait for the first cruise of Bliss to set sail on April 21st and TheDougOut's live posting to start!
I can't be the only one greatly anticipating that thread starting!

Here is the best kept secret about specialty coffee and the UBP.... I was let in on this little trick by cruise bar staff. Ask for whatever specialty coffee you want, but have them add a little alcohol, like a shooter of Baileys. The coffee then automatically becomes an alcoholic drink and therefore FREE!!!
I do this all the time! Have fun!

Awesome idea!! I so prefer my coffee with Bailey's anyways

68 days till first cruise ever on Epic

I thought that was pretty high as well. We've never cruised and are heading on epic next February. Since it's an eastern Caribbean sailing our plan is to connect with family while in st Thomas when our phones will be none roaming.

My first cruise was on the Epic also. We sailed on her again a couple of years later. You absolutely do not need to be in the Haven to have a great time. You will enjoy your balcony very much.
Do not worry about negative reviews, just have a great time!
Thank you! I'm trying to not overthink it. Just a bit anxious with such a big ship.

Thank you everyone who's posted!! It's going to be a long 250 some days until we sail. I'm passing time listening to some podcasts and checking out a few YouTube channels.
Any things to think of Epic specific that we should know?

It applies to UK and other European bookings. You can book through one of those offices if you want the deal.
Thanks that's good to know, I had no idea.

So wait this only applies to UK passengers?
What do you think of the new Prima class dinner menu?

They left off some of the items I’ve enjoyed in the recent past. No bruschetta, French onion soup, pork tenderloin or chicken cordon blue.
My son also really enjoyed the smoked ravioli appetizer too.
