This is a little late in posting, but I booked my $55 service on day 1 for day 2 on the Meravaglia. I booked with George. He was fantastic, and I got a great cut and color. He even gave me the formula. I was pleasantly surprised. I gave him a $20 tip too. Will absolutely do it again.

We are booked on the Seaside, January 2018, with 8 other people, all booked through the same travel agent and we are together for dinner. Some of us has all inclusive drink packages, and some don't, as they don't drink.

We have been booked on the May 28th cruise for just a few months. Primarily because a friend has been in drydock with her, and will be on the ship when they start sailing. There were structural repairs that have to be done. That is all they have been told. You can imagine as a worker, they are ok with not having to deal with passengers yet, and get to stay docked longer.
It was this friend that always insisted we have insurance when we are flying to a cruise. So we have that. If they cancel the cruise so be it. We will take the refund and future cruise credit and hang out in Miami for 5 days.

We are 7 points from Diamond on RCCL, and have preferred that cruise line, over Norwegian and Carnival. Our TA is the one who suggested MSC because my Husband is Italian and a former Chef. Now he is just working the back of the house at a catering facility. The TA said the Mediterranean style cruising would appeal to my husband. We jumped on the Seaside presale because the Fantastica Suite price is what a Balcony on RCCL costs, and the beverage package thrown in was great. We are flying from NYC, and the airfare to FLA in January is very reasonable.
This is the first time I booked a cruise so far out. We have 2 this year, and generally keep it to 2 per year.

When I spoke with an agent the other day, she said that the Fantastica and Aurea Suites have bath tubs. Like you and others here, I am puzzled as to why the confirmation only mentions "shower" if indeed there is a bathtub.
The Fantastica Suites have a Bathtub, the pic on the MSC booking page shows that, but does not mention a balcony, which my TA said it is. So will just have to wait until the ship is built I guess...Final payment is due November 2017 :o

We booked the Seaside for January 20, 2018 for our 5 year Anniversary and my sister in law and her husband booked too. MSC converted our RCCL points to Gold Membership on their line. That is one under their top tier. So that was really nice of them. We booked it through our TA, we are on Deck 12 suite, with the Free Classic Beverage pkg, Fantasica plan.
It is going to be our first time cruising with them (unless we find a great deal in 2017) and the reviews of the cruise line scare me. My husband speaks fluent Italian, so the language complaints I am not worried about.

There is probably the 18% gratuity added too. We are on the Empress of the Seas 5/18 and paid $792.96 for the 2 of us. It was $48 per day, plus the 18% making it $56.64.
