The prices I've found actually seem to be increasing fast. The range I mentioned above is for round trip pricing.
Thanks for the tip about alternate cities. I will look for those as well.

Your photos are beautiful!!!!
Could you comment on how much I should expect to pay for a flight to Venice from the U.S.? We are cruising in June 2020 and I am anxious to book a flight but I am not certain when I can expect the best fares. Any experience you can share would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Sher

We are cruising out of Venice, Italy in June of 2020. Airfare prices have recently started to open up. We will be flying from Chicago. Does anyone have experience with this type of flight? How much we should expect to pay? Prices right now are a range from 1000-1300 for economy fares, but I'm wondering if I should hold out for possible sales or price reductions. I know Venice might not be an airport that has a lot of daily flights, but I want to try to find out how to get the best deal.

Thanks for all of the suggestions! I wasn't aware that I could cancel it if the price dropped.

We are going on Allure in March and our Deluxe drink package is on sale today 30% off. This is the lowest I have seen it ($49/day).
Does anyone know if the prices ever drop more than that? I'm trying to get the best price.
Thanks!!!

Thank you for this post. I'm on Allure in March and while this is the lowest price it has been, I was under the impression from reading other posts that a good price is always less than $50. I think I'll hold out for a better price. I'm so disappointed though. I was really looking forward to getting everything booked today.

In March of 2009, the Voyager of the Seas cruise stopped in Roatan. We didn't have any plans and ended up taking a ferry/pontoon boat to a small island with a pool and some food. I think the beach was nice but we stayed at the pool because it was very windy that day.
I'm enclosing a link to a few pictures to see if anyone recognizes the area and can tell me the name of the place we were at and if it is still open.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Last year on Oasis of the Seas, my Paul Mitchel flat/straightening iron wouldn't work. Other items worked in the outlets but I guess it wanted to draw too much power. It worked fine when I returned home.
Does anyone have a flat iron or curling iron that worked on board? If so, please give me the brand name so i can pick one up. We will be on Symphony of the Seas in May and I need find something that will work.

That's it!!!! Thank you so much! Now to learn some Spanish! :D

It was after Happy and then after they sang the song written for RCCL.....very fast and I don't think it was in English. It might have been in Spanish, but I'm not sure....

Last night in the main dining room on Oasis, the servers sang a song and then danced around to a dance club style song that I don't think was in English but it was very catchy and now it is stuck in my head.....anyone know what the last song they play in the dining room on the last night is?
I know it's a long shot and might not always be the same for every trip.

I haven't been on a cruise in a few years and I am planning one for January of 2017.
I would like to go on an Oasis class ship.
When is the best time to book for the best price? Are price adjustments still available?
Does anyone have any advice to give me for planning? I need to know everything from room selection and nice quiet spots to what restaurants are best to try!

This will likely be our last Caribbean cruise for a few years as we are going to try to go to some other locations for a while.
I have never been to St. Lucia so I would like to know what is a Must Do/See?
I heard from a table mate on our last cruise that he liked it better than any other island in the Caribbean.

We have bought many pictures because our kids are grown and we don't go to professional photographers anymore. That said, the pictures are way overpriced and we would buy more if they cost less.
The waste makes me sick. I wish they didn't print all of them and that they could be viewed on a digital machine like I have seen on some of the RCCL cruises we've been on.
We avoid the photographers if we aren't really serious and when they approach the table at dinner, we decline since we don't generally buy those poses.

I'd be interested to know what your booking deadline and your "sail by" date is on your letter.
Our letter came about two weeks ago and we had to book by March 3, 2014. We went to the website on the letter and logged in, many cruises were available. We chose the one we liked and booked it, upgrading to a balcony since we have never been in one before.
There wasn't really a "sail by" date. We just needed to pick from the cruises available. We are on the Freedom, May 24, 8 day Southern Caribbean. We really liked the itinerary. There were about 4 pages of cruises to choose from and the letter said they were adding more daily but we picked right away.

Can someone fill me in on what this fire color system is? Where can I get the color swatches or info to follow the rules?

Our dance studio/ballet company did this about 10 years ago with a large group of hs and college age dancers. They loved it! My dd was too young at the time. I know the dance teacher/studio owner took months to arrange things. I don't know if there was an official program back then to host such dance groups. The group did several numbers and I think performed two or three times during the cruise. I don't know what line it was on.
They never did it again. I'm not sure why. Everyone said they loved it but when my dd was part of the older group they didn't do any trips.

Thanks for all of the information. There isn’t a rush to book now, but i don’t have much experience traveling abroad. Last year, I booked right when flights opened to Barcelona because they were less than $500 r/t.
Alidor , I would like your contact info.
