Will we have to pay an entrance fee to Magen's Bay for kids?

Hi!

I have 3 year old twins and was wondering if I should take their double umbrella stroller for our December cruise on MSC Seaside or if we should bring two individual umbrella strollers for them? For reference, it is not a full size double stroller. It is the umbrella version of a double stroller but it is still bigger and wider than regular single umbrella strollers.

We will use the strollers mostly pre cruise and during port excursions and not necessarily on the ship. But, I don't know if I will have any challenges fitting the double stroller through hallways, cabin door, etc.

We are sailing in December with the Fantastica Drink Vouchers.

I've been reading about the price changes and what each package does or does not include.

Does this change affect what you get with the drink vouchers?

I had heard in the past you can use your vouchers to get gelato. Could we still get gelato with the vouchers?

Also, I was told drink vouchers were equivalent to classic package and now that that package is gone what is it equivalent to?

Any insights?

Hi,

Are the current dinner times 5:15, 7:15 and 9:15 for Seaside MDR?

I called MSC yesterday and the customer service lady insisted there are only 2 seatings one at 5:30 and one at 7:30.

Can someone confirm the current dinner times? 

We are 4 cabins, all fantastica package and I want to make sure we are all assigned to the same time.

We will be on MSC Seaside Room 11209.

When I look at the deck plans it states that this room is AA with double sofa bed.

I searched online and it says ambulatory accessible cabin.

What does it mean?

We have the fantastica package so we have the vouchers. We don't have the unlimited drink package. I was hoping there would be some free drinks during MDR so we don't have to use our vouchers for non alcoholic drinks like coffee. 

And for kids, I prefer to use their vouchers for gelato if milk is included in the MDR.

Anyone?

you will each get the benefits that your status receives, your husband will get gold benefits, you will get classic.

 

 

 

Unfortunately the benefits were much watered down two years ago with introduction of the status match.

 

not much worth having at gold level even less at classic.

I saw in one of the posts that the kids club is open between 9am-11pm. Is it free between these hours or do you have to pay after a certain time? Also, on Carnival you can pay extra to keep your child in the kids club after 10pm until 1am. Is this offered here as well?

Hi, I don’t have any status with any other cruise lines but my husband is a diamond on Hilton. We submitted the status match and are waiting to hear back from MSC. Our reservation is under my name and not his. Does that matter? Will we still get the perks if he is matched to black?

Thank you for your review. How does the Fantastica voucher system work? Can you use it anywhere and on any drinks? Like MDR and other bars. We also have kids in the cabin and heard they will also get it but for non alcoholic beverages. What can you get for the kids vouchers?

Re Kids Cutt off was 11pm they take them for dinner to buffet one floor down at 7pm and you can pick them up there if you want. They did not take them to shows but both kids liked KC

 

vouchers appeared in our room first day

 

 

 

they screwed up our drinks with meal promo and could not do anything without corporate approval.

Hi TC, thank you for your wonderful review! I have a question about the seating situation in the MDR. Do you know how many people can sit together on the dining tables? We have a group of 14 people and not sure if all of us can sit together or they will have to split our group into several tables!

Thanks for your reply! I wouldn't do anything risky! I was hoping if someone pregnant who has been to Blue Hole could answer how their experience was! It looks like I will be on the observation deck while the rest of my family enjoys the attractions! :o
