  1. I grabbed my copy of the Funtimes and headed to the Lido for lunch. I still hadn't heard from the rest of my group. I went to the Mongolian station for lunch. This was my first time eating the Mongolian. There was no line so I decided to try it. I have read a lot of reviews that it is really good. I was disappointed. I think I would have preferred to have rice as a choice instead of noodles. After lunch I headed to the Serenity deck to check it out.

    Here are some pictures.

So excited thank you for posting this we are taking our very first cruise may 30th on paradise!! can you tell me when was the captains celebration as they called it in your fun times thing, did you go on any excursions?

  2. In Grand Cayman maybe do an island tour for $15-$20 pp that ends at 7 mile beach. After summer is over they can inform their teachers/friends they've been to hell and back this summer.

Cozumel is good for beaches with kids. Maybe go to a ruin if they like history.

LOL they would really get a kick out of that!

  3. I have been looking on carnival .com for some reasonably priced excursions for our family of 7. We will be sailing May 30th to Grand Cayman and Cozumel, and I would like to find something fun to do with our kids (ages 7-11, and 19yr old stepson) I have heard that it is cheaper to book outside of carnival for excursions? If so does anyone have any recommendations?

  4. We will be on the 5 day cruise may 30th, I'm just curious about the formal night, has anyone been on paradise recently that could tell me about it? How dressy is it? Can the kids attend, if so do they need to be dressy also? What night is formal night or elegant night ( whichever it's called) any info would be greatly appreciated, as this is our first cruise!

  5. We will be going on our first cruise May 30th 2015 on carnival paradise, porting in tampa.... My question is do my 3 children need notarized "permission" from my ex to travel? we were never married, I have always had full custody and I haven't seen him in almost 9 years, the travel agent told us I just need their birth certificates and valid i.d or passport for myself and boyfriend. but I was looking at another post and noticed someone mention this notarized permission needed...... Any info would be greatly appreciated.
