  1. On Escapes inaugural crossing we had fabulous shows and acts ..every night .A fellow artist invited to perform only performed once as they had so many acts they could not squeeze him in till last evening ....many surprise many great, great shows ..I hope Bliss will be the same ...i know i,m going for that reason ..we will not sit in the sun ...not in april Notrth Atlantic ..think brrrrr ..probably rain in azores not exactly warm in April in Halifax ...so shows are main attraction

If they are as good as on Escape we are in on quite a treat

There was one show on Escape whivh did not continue in Caribbean ...lots of singers and dancser with fabulous costumes ...i cannot remember the name ,,,.

It was great but too expensive to run long term

I met some of the cast ..complimented the ladies on their gorgeous gowns which they told me cost 10000$ each plus neede a full time seamstress to resew sequins regularly ...it was a spectacular show ...Im glad we got to see it

So what are the plans for Bliss as they will be an important part of first crossing

We had no idea we could expect this!!!

  2. If you prefer the one that you saw on Escape (11312) and like the "master-bath with a view", the ONLY choices for the H6 are decks 11 and 14 (known as Configuration B). Between those 2 decks, the balcony size is nearly identical. If I was to choose between decks 11 and 14, I'd stay in deck 11.

If you prefer the master bedroom with 2nd access door to the balcony, take any deck other than 11 or 14.

If you don't care about the master-bed/master bathroom configuration and care more about balcony size, I'd go for deck 12 or deck 9 as they are the 2nd largest and largest, respectively (I also prefer Configuration A which 9 and 12 both are)..

If location is important, I'd take something roughly in the middle to avoid noise from above and still have a great view. If you prefer being near the water, 9 is the best because it is closest to the water and is the largest balcony.

Feel free to shoot any more questions if you have them.

You could not have stated the detail any better than this. Thank you!!!

  3. We just returned from sailing on the Breakaway yesterday and were booked in an H9 Haven Spa Suite. We celebrated our 42nd Anniversary during the cruise and could not be more delighted with the cruise. We are seasoned Cunard cruisers and this was our first cruise with NCL. The concept of "A ship within a ship" in the Haven is no exaggeration. We think it would be a superb experience for your 25th Wedding Anniversary!

  4. Having sail with Cunard to Platinum World Club status, we are now tired of the stress of having to fly to Southampton to sail. NYC is the ideal departure port since we live in New Jersey. We booked our first NCL cruise in an Aft Balcony stateroom on the Breakaway for the 4/27/14 sailing. NCL was extremely accomodating, and allowing us to rebook (after final payment) to a Haven S9 Spa Balcony stateroom to take advantage of the promotion. Since we would have purchased both the UDP and the UBP, the additional cost is $400.00 for the luxury of The Haven. We are extremely happy with the promotion!

  5. Looking for some advice from anyone who has stayed on Deck 14 in a category S9 Haven Spa Suite (Portside) regarding noise from the Fitness Center above. These are the available Spa Suite numbers and wondering if the location is an issue, and if so, which Suite should we select?

    Thank you for any comments.

  6. I think our best option is to proceed with the final payment 2/11/14 unless there is a price change prior to that date. Since we are very happy with our stateroom on deck 9 because of the balcony size, I think we will just accept the current pricing to keep the stateroom. Thank you for all of your comments!

  7. We are looking for some advice from an experienced NCL cruiser. We booked directly with NCL for the April 27, 2014 sailing on the Breakaway, an Aft Balcony (B1 Category) stateroom. The final payment is due next week and the inventory is still showing 14 category B1 staterooms available. Should we make the final payment or cancel and rebook once we see less staterooms available in the hopes that there will be a price reduction, or pursue an upgrade or additional OBC after final payment? We are very happy with our stateroom choice at this point, but of course would like the best rate possible. How do you play this supply and demand game? Thank you in advance.

  8. Now that the UDP has been offered for our 7 day cruise in April, we feel it is a good option for us. My question regards pre-booking restaurants online or waiting to board the ship. We definitely would like to try Cagney's the first evening and Le Bistro the second for our Anniversary dinner. But we are unsure about where we would like to dine for the other 5 evenings. Any suggestions for a plan? Thank you.
