Interesting. When I called Viator, I was told all the post cruise tours bring you back to the cruise port. If you would then like transport to the airport it would be an extra $178 for 4 people. Maybe the phone rep I talked to didn't know what she was talking about.

We're cruising on NCL in July and will be disembarking in Vancouver. We have an afternoon flight and
am wondering about short tours (3-4 hours) that leave from the cruise port and drop you
and your luggage at the airport. NCL has one I'm considering and I'm curious if there's anyone
here with comments on how the Norwegian sponsored tour was. I checked with viator and none
of their tours will drop you off at the airport. Let me know of any tours that go from the cruise port and end
at the airport. Thanks

I just took a look at the ncl website and there are still cruisetours listed
for Jewel sail dates 6/3/19 and 6/17/19 with tours after. There is an 11 day,
12 day, and 14 day option available for booking. Is yours one of those?
That's pretty upsetting that a cruisetour that's still available for booking on
their website has been cancelled. I'm also interested in summer 2019
cruise tours on the jewel, so please let us know what you find out.

Our extended family of 10 is traveling together on the NCL Epic in June
and I'm looking for suggestions for transfer for us from the Civitavecchia cruise port to Rome FCO airport
Our group of 10 will be 6 adults and 4 kids ages 4-14.
I've checked websites of many of the companies that are noted here on CC but they limit passengers of 1 vehicle to 8.
Do you know of any transport companies that can accommodate 10 passengers in 1 vehicle and take us from cruise port to airport?
I know we can get 2 vehicles, but the price is pretty high.
We can't do the train due the older members of the family that
have limited mobility.
Thanks for your suggestions

Any thoughts on transfers from the Civitavecchia cruise port to Rome FCO
with 10 people? We're 6 adults and 4 kids ranging in age 4-14
Most of the websites I've checked have 8 people as their max.
Some in group have limited mobility so the train is not
a good option for us.
Thanks

Thanks. That's what I thought, but wanted to check to see if anything changed since it went under refurbishment back in Oct 2015.
Has anyone been on the ship in rooms 16000 16001 16003 after
the refurb to confirm whether or not the front has changed?
In a picture post refurb the front looks different

I have a booking for 16001 for a summer 2016 sailing and noticed
on my costco confirmation the note
"The view from this stateroom is partially obstructed by a lifeboat or other deck equipment."
I've stayed in room 16003 before and never noticed an obstruction.
Is this an error on costco's part?
Thanks

We were on the epic in March '15 in a 2 bedroom villa 16003. We had 5 people ranging in age from 9 to 89. It was definitely worth the extra price for us since we were traveling with kids and seniors. Our favorites were haven restaurant and the pool area. We ate breakfast everyday in the Haven restaurant and found the food and service to be superb. We walked through the buffet breakfast one morning and it's complete chaos compared to the Haven restaurant. On our stop in Grand Cayman it was sunny and super hot and when we got back from our tour there was about 1000 people in line (no shade) for the tenders. Our 89 year old wouldn't be able to wait in the line. Our concierge told us to come to the front of the line when we returned and he was waiting for us and put us on the next tender. We had a few mechanical issues in our room but they would be taken care of the the same day when we let the staff know. The only concern I had about the haven pool area is that most parents are sunbathing or sleeping and not watching their kids and there is no staff to monitor pool safety. Given the opportunity, I would definitely go on the epic in the haven again.

Newbie here - I don't see any existing postings about this so here goes.
Looking for an economical way to get 7 adults and 4 kids
from POM to Miami airport Sunday morning after NCL cruise.
I've found a few shuttle companies - Has anyone used them?
'Ride with us'
'system miami shuttle'
'quick shuttle'
Prices range from $7 to $9 per person
Since you never know exactly what time you'll be ready for
pickup after the cruise, do you call after you clear customs?
I read taxis are a flat rate of $24 or so, and we could split up.
Are there ever van-style taxis at the Miami port terminal?
Do you need to make a reservation for a van taxi?
Thanks in advance for your reply
