We tell our friends that this was the best trip we've ever taken.  Thanks to Alex and Maureen, tours ran smoothly and were very organized.  Thanks very much you two.  I also must say that we enjoyed the company of everyone on the tours.  It was a very congenial and friendly group.  It was nice travelling with all of you.

We're not familiar with snorkeling in Curacao, but we love to snorkel. Can you recommend Blue Bay for this?

Our problem is finally resolved. Went through cancellation process again. Got the same error message saying our phone number was not valid. This time, we erased the phone number completely, leaving the box blank, hit the cancel button, and the cancellation went through. Go figure! Thanks all for your suggestions.

Did not use the Saver Rate, it was a standard booking.

We did book online. When we try to cancel, they ask for our correct phone number. We respond with our phone number, the same one we made our booking with, but they will not accept it. It is an overseas call for us, which we were trying to avoid. Thanks for your thoughts.

We have a booking for the Premier Inn in Southampton and have tried several times to cancel it. Their website is very frustrating. Their booking process is very easy, but not their cancellation process. We have tried everything. We now must either call them or send a letter. Does anyone out there have any ideas?

We rented a car from the downtown Anchorage Avis location. Four days starting Sept 2,2014. The total, including taxes was $111. This was an AARP rate. Not sure if they still do AARP rate at this location. It is worth investigating off-airport rental agencies. Find a hotel with shuttle service and is also close to the car rental site that you can easily walk to. Good luck! Don't know how rental prices compare between July and Sept..

We were the 4th vehicle on the scene. We stopped to help and were told 911 had been called. There was nothing we could do. It was very shocking and sobering. Road conditions were slick from rain. We traveled more carefully to Anchorage. Life is precarious.
