Hi! I've seen reviews on Blue Lagoon and it seems like just the place we would like to go. Only, thing is when I went on carnival excursions I can't find it anywhere. I called carnival and they were like if I don't see it then they don't offer any longer. So, my question is why is carnival not offering this anymore? The next question is is this a good excursion to take although not through carnival? Are they reliable to have us back where we need to be on time? Would you suggest us doing this excursion? There will be 4 families going. kids ages range from 2-10. adults in their 30s and my parents whom are in 60s

Ok, thanks ;)

Thanks! The first cruise out started yesterday. Hopefully, we can get some insight on what they've done or are in the process of doing when it returns

Ohhhh ok. I sail end of May so everything should hopefully be done by then

Why do you say that lace?

Looks like it was dry docked feb 12-25. Can't find any information as to what was done though

Oh man, I'm going to go crazy checking this thing all the time. Right now I'm checking fareviewer under early saver. Should I check the others also? What does it mean when I looked under price select, the price was higher but they offered free upgrade? Does this
Mean anything to me? Is it best to stay where I am because it's more likely to get a reduction in the category that I'm in? I'm in a oceanview category 6C room
-
Oh wow!! That is awesome! So do you check once a week? Do all the categories tend to go on sale? We are on category 6C. The categories start at 6B.

Dnj1 I just spoke to pvp. If you have a pvp that you booked with then they can change prices for you. I booked with regular customer service so I will have to submit forms.
I thought it was a lower rate but basically you select category and then go to next page. You have to pay attention to the room category you have to check if price changes.

Thank you so much! This is actually my 4th cruise. 3rd on carnival. This will be my first cruise with my family. My sister and her family have never cruised before. My parents have also cruised.
This will be our family vacation for the year ;) I hate I didn't know all this information for the other cruises we took. We just booked through travel agent for those.
My husband and I did a Royal Caribbean cruise once but it was tied with a timeshare. We only paid $850 for 4 day cruise and 3 days in Orlando with rental car and park hopper tickets to universal and islands of adventure

Ok, thank you so much for your help. I'm about to call now
-
Are those pictures blurry to you? I'm uploading from my cell using best quality but they look horrible to me
-
Ok, I spoke to someone super nice before I booked and got her information. I will call her back and make her my pvp since I didn't get the info of the person we actually booked with
-
-
Ok, great! I did book early saver.
Have you done this before? Does the prices do a bunch of small increment decreases?
-
-
What is pvp? I booked directly through carnival. This is our base price. Does this mean I need to submit a form for the $15 difference? Does it matter how often we do this?
-
Thank you for that link falkcor

We have to have final payment in by April 1st.
We have a oceanview upper deck room.
It wasn't a free upgrade we paid an additional $20 per room for upper deck

Hey! We have booked our first cruise with family members. We have some cruise virginia and some experienced cruisers in our group. This will be a first for the family to go together. We depart on May 31 on the sensation. My question is what's the best way to know about price drops to get a lower priced cruise. Do we need to check the website everyday(please say there is an easier way)? Also, how can we get on board credit? If we get on Board credit can we use it to pay for an excursion since we are paying through the cruise line?
Thank you in advance for your help
Blue Lagoon and Carnival
in Carnival Cruise Lines

Thank you so much for everyone feedback. We will most likely be going to Blue Lagoon. I feel it has something for everyone. We have a few who want to do dolphin swim and this will be perfect because everyone can still be pretty much together at the same location.
Thank you for resting my fears on booking this excursion off the ship. You know they put the fear of God in you about not booking through the cruise lines when it comes to excursions
