Update
sorry I am actually typing this in the casino (bag is in cabin now!).
I spoke to Diamond concierge who contacted security.
2 security came to speak to me. I explained everything as above, and I also took them to the bar to show them where I had been sitting. I then had to fill a longer report. They were going to view cctv as well as guest services cctv.
there were 2 cameras on me when I cashed the voucher out.

Sorry yes of course it is great help thank you! It is just directed at the person who said I was lying!

They said telephone charger, not cell phone.
Thank you yes, my phone is in my hand and never went into my bag (as it doesn’t fit).

The OP still has not mentioned the amount of the voucher...which leads me to be it is a minor amount and not worth the investigative trouble. As an aside, I am also a little confused as to how a hairbrush is of more value than the credit card and cell phone... Sorry OP but the presentation of your story is a little suspect...especially when it involves an accusation of theft.
? I never said my phone was in the bag? It was a phone charger thing.. I can even attach the photo of bag and content! Why does everyone need to automatically assume I am lying?!! The voucher was less than 500 but more than 200. Casino manager is from U.K. he said it is my word against the person that cashed it in..I have now got security involved and have filled in a form.

Just throwing it out there...are you sure the voucher was in that bag?
A million percent sure. I always put it in the same part of my bag when I leave the casino. My husband was next to me. Someone else cashed it in..

Since you admitted it was your fault, the casino has little incentive to investigate it further. This irony of this situation is the definition gambling. The money was lost, but you got you bag back. You win some and you lose some.
I will need to speak to security.. I assumed I left the bag behind, as I didn't take it when I left, but there was plenty of opportunity for someone to pick it up.. the bar was packed as football was on.. standing room only.. bag was next to me. there is nothing to say that someone took the bag, rather than me forgetting it. I just assumed that this morning I left it. I didn't notice last night as I carried my phone and I also had some water cans.

You said earlier that you only had lipstick and a hairbrush in it.
Sorry I was just listing the main things in the bag, the hairbrush and lipstick were the largest and the only thing which had any real "value". I also had some pins etc.. sorry I only mentioned the hairbrush and lipstick as that is the only other thing that cost anything

Did the casino voucher have your name or ID (sorry don't know as don't use the casino)? Did you have your cruise card in your bag, in the first post you just said hairbrush and lippy?
I used my card to register at the machine - the casino manager checked the slot machine which I was playing at, so could see the voucher which I took out of the machine and the voucher generated. so they can trace it back to me.. their argument though is that a voucher is the same as cash, and it is my word against the other person that I didn't just drop the voucher, and someone else picked it up (rather than taken from my actual bag).. sorry yes, I had lipstick, hairbrush, a telephone charger, a credit card, a couple of receipts.. nothing valuable apart from the voucher.. the bag was also valuable.. weirdly that was handed in

I once left a $20 bill laying on a table.......Someone was $20 richer. No, if the bag had no name, and no ID in it, than it is lost cash
Sorry, I don't understand, my bag had my name in it, it had my card? Thank you

I once left money/points in a slot machine. I put my chair up as I had to rush to bathroom. My DH was 2 machines down. He saw a passenger go to the machine. He said something but the person ignored him. The person then cashed out.
When I returned I told casino host and they sent security over who viewed videos of the person. Saw they cashed in my voucher and were now sitting at the bar. Security spoke with the guy and escorted him out.
Never saw him again.
Casino gave me my cash back around $150.
Thank you. To be fair now I think about it, I am not even sure if someone took the bag, and it was later found, rather than me forgetting it. The bar was packed.

Firstly, I know it was my fault. I just wondered people's opinion on this, and whether I can do something (or not, as they keep telling me)
I am currently on a RC ship. Last night I was in the casino, cashed out, and put the voucher in my bag. I then visited a bar for a drink + sorrento pizza.. I know I was very stupid, and it is 100% my fault, but I left my bag in the bar. It only had a hairbrush and some lippie.. and the casino voucher..
I realised this morning, called guest services, who said the bag was handed in.. I went to pick up the bag, and the casino voucher was gone. I spoke to the casino manager, who said they will check if the voucher has been used, but if it has, it is lost and they will not do anything about it, even if they know someone has cashed it in. The argument being is that the casino voucher is the same as cash, so it is as if i left cash on the floor. Does this sound right? I know if I lost cash it would be my fault, but it seems unfair as the casino voucher is "linked" to me. I also know it is my own fault regardless for forgetting my handbag.

Hello.. my husband was approached in the casino by the casino manager to say he gambled enough to get 30% off a future cruise. He filled in a form and was told to come back last night. He did, but casino manager was not there.. we have not heard anything since. Is the 30% discount lost? Thank you

Hello. I am really interested in this as we want to sail next month and my husband had Covid 2 months ago. Where we live, he can’t have his booster as he needs to wait (he has a recovery certificate). More 9 months have passed since his last shot (we were moving countries). I sent an email to MSC so I will share what they say….

Thank you

Hi all. We are coming from Dubai next month. Our son, who is 10, is not vaccinated (he can’t be even if we wanted to). Does anyone know if RC will accept a PCR test NOT carried out in US? It will be in the right time frame, and will have all the necessary info including lab info etc and QR code.. thank you!!!

We have done testing at Port Canaveral just before cruising. Info is in this link: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/what-if-i-dont-find-a-pre-cruise-test-or-get-test-results-in-time
Thank you!

Whatever you do I would highly recommend you DO NOT do them at the airport. Every time I'm going to catch a flight I glace to the testing kiosks and they're the worst chaotic zoo you can imagine. I would suggest you look at CVS/Walgreens in that area or buy BinaxNow Telehealth tests (I'm assuming you have access to a computer or tablet or smart phone).
Thank you!! Ok will cross airport out! Thank you!

We just went hunting for covid tests in person in Orlando. It was very busy - but is probably because of the current situation and will be easier in March. Many sites said walk-in bookings welcome but the queues were very long.
As previously stated there is a testing site at the Orlando Airport. This for antigen tests was $65 not sure on PCR. An appointment would probably be advisable here.
There is the Orlando Premium Outlet Mall near Universal where we got ours for coming home. They are conducted by Covid Testing LLC which also does testing for Royal Caribbean. It was $75 for antigen tests and $175 for PCR tests. Appointments would also be advisable - but at this location appointments were just told to join the queue. Some UK airlines are currently allowing free changes to bookings. BA is one. Some hotels are also offering changes. You could perhaps be able to change flights and manage to use UK testing for the USA entry and cruise and save a bit of money on testing, then add a few days on after the cruise - obviously that is in the current circumstances and who knows what might happen.
If that is not an option a telemonitored test in the USA for yourselves might save some $ then just the 1 PCR test at a site.
Thank you. I really appreciate you coming back to me. I guess the main issue is leaving enough of a gap between the flight and cruise, especially if flights are delayed! Thank you!!

I should add, all 3 of us will have negative PCRs to get into the US, however we get there 4 days before the cruise.. so will need another one!

Hi all!
We are sailing end of March 2022 in Mariner B2B. We are coming from UK, where they are not vaccinating under 12. So my son will need a PCR test before boarding. We will need antigen tests. All 3 of us had covid in December. We are boosted and ready to go.. However as I am not in the US, no clue of the best place to go. Of course, I gogoled it, but as we do not have a car, there seems to be a lot of places we can't go.. also I am hearing of cancellations after booking the test.. we will be around Universal, so can anyone recommend the best/most reliable place to go? or if someone can come to our hotel?
Thanks all

We are flying to the US on Thursday from the UK and currently you only need a lateral flow test to fly to the USA (the day before), although this MUST be proctored - no DIY with NHS tests.
I am flying from Dubai and antigen tests are not legal here.. so will be a full PCR test
