  1. I purchased 3 of these as well for my cruise in October 2018 (I don't know if I can wait that long!) and on the page it said expires in November 2018, but on the actual gift cards i received it said expires 4/27/18 so be careful if you bought them for a cruise that's more than a year out, just be sure to use before then. Guess I will apply them to my cruise now instead of waiting.

  2. Congratulations! 30 days out is so exciting!

I spray tanned once (the kind where the lady actually used a hand-held machine to airbrush my whole body) last October for a beach trip (and also to test it out for my wedding cruise this October) and the results were great, BUT sadly only lasted for about the first 3 days. It faded really quickly. I would recommend it but it can be kind of costly for it not to last very long. But for someone who is so fair as I am, it was nice to have a bronzed look on the beach that first day in Florida.

I have not tried any self-tanning products but am looking forward to seeing anyone else's recommendations on here!

Thank you! It snuck up on me!

I too have done the spray tan where a person did it, i really liked it, just didn't know how logical it was to get done on a cruise. I have heard of people doing it and taking stuff to keep it up (like another self tanner) but i am also terrified that I will look awful on my wedding day. lol

  3. Ladies I am 30 short days away from saying I DO on the Carnival Magic! I have mostly everything done. I need to paint my card box and wait for other things to arrive in the mail.

I do have a question though: are any of you ladies going to spray tan or self tan? Any experience with that on a cruise? Best products if you do self tan?

    Thank you!

  4. Anyone doing wedding programs?

I didn't even think about it because its a cruise wedding, but wouldn't be opposed to it.

Anyone have a template or sample they are willing to share?

Update on my April 2016 wedding

Waiting on my Lettermate to start addressing my invitations, hope to have those sent out Mid October. (sent save the dates out in early summer) have 6 cabins booked to sail with us. some friends and mostly family. Ordered my dress and went to pick it up last week and it was a disaster, beading coming off, frayed etc, so ordered a new one and the latest it will be in, is Jan. Getting so excited!

  5. I am not going to do much decoration on my own... I could have sworn I saw in my email for a form to pick a color scheme and now I am not seeing it, or did I dream this up?

What are some things you guys are decorating with? If I dont decorate, will it still look okay?

  6. Hello all!

My fiance and I are getting married on the Carnival Breeze, departing from Galveston, TX on October 23, 2016! Our 7 day itinerary will take us to Cozumel, Belize, and Roatan, Honduras. We are planning on getting married in Roatan, Honduras at a resort off the ship and we are super excited for this 7 day celebration!

I have been working on our wedding website and although it's not complete yet, it is getting there: http://www.thehannawedding.com

Our save the dates should be in this week and will be out next week! We want to give guests as much time as possible. We will send regular invites out probably late this fall or early 2016. We hope most guests will book after receiving the RSVP and checking the site out!

    That is an amazing website!

  7. My wedding is booked for April 16th, 2016. Is anyone bringing their own decorations for the reception? or is it worth doing since it would only be for an hour. What is everyone's ideas for a wedding favors?

April 3rd here, I will not be bringing decorations other than maybe something for the cake. I haven't decided about wedding favors either, its mostly family coming so i am not sure. I might do the chocolate coins.

  8. Hope this works out for you! I was booked on the Breeze out of Miami, now I'm booked on the same Itinerary but it will be on the Splendor! So I spent a day crying about it, did research, decided not to switch ships and suck it up. The splendor is getting the 2.0 upgrades in March, or so they say. Fingers crossed nothing else happens.

I just heard back from my coordinator, thankfull my ship is not leaving until mid april and we are going in early april. so no more stressing there! Fingers crossed for you!

  9. No bridesmaids here! I know that seems funny but its hard to choose and I'm doing okay with just the bride and groom so far :)

Dress was ordered last week..will be here sometime near October.

Wedding colors aren't finalized, and only two booked guests, but that list will rise in time. I just got the list of songs :) No wedding programs planned.

Did you decide to do your own flowers? I'm interested in a silk bouquet.

By the way....I just got my packet today and I am LOVING finally having so much information! I love how easy it is to plan the wedding!

Me too, no bridesmaids here, no drama! I think I will look into silk flowers as well.

I have started to design my invitations, if anyone is looking and (I know i looked forever) need something, or some ideas, go to https://weddingpassports.com/ . All you do is buy the template and then design it how you want, upload it back if you want them to print it or go and get it printed your self.

I need to go and look at dresses!

I just read about the changing of ports for Carnival Breeze and Magic, and it has me kind of worried. I just sent an email to carnival to ask. I am getting married April of 2016 on the Magic out of Galveston (or I am supposed to be) but its moving to Port Canaveral in April 2016, but the Breeze will not be in Galveston until May 2016. Hopefully this is a Typo and I will have a ship to get married on! LOL

  10. I am doing traditional invites to save $$- I had priced some others, but couldn't see myself paying upwards of $8 each for specialized invites, especially considering I'll have to spend $1 on stamps for the invite and rsvp! Speaking of rsvp, I'm going with a traditional mail-back style just bc I have a lot of older family members who I don't exactly trust to figure out the website! I am actually doing 2 versions of the rsvp card due to the limits on non-cruising guests with Carnival... friends will get only the options to cruise or decline, while family will get an additional option to attend but not cruise. I'm also adding an enclosure card with cruise booking details... FYI, I'm ordering the invites through Costco and they seem to be a great price, although the styles are slightly limited!

Yeah I am creating my own boarding pass invites(hopefully) I will have multiple "passes" with all the different information they need put together with some kind of decorative brad. I didnt want to spend 8$ per invitation!

  11. Alright brides! What are you guys doing for invitations? I have scoured the internets for ideas and i have received some great ones! I am doing the boarding pass style invitations. I wanted to know if you guys were going to do old fashioned RSVPs/ how would you word them or if you will do RSVPS via wedding website?

  12. What did you guys do for these? / Are going to do for these?

I am thinking of just sending out invitations only, so that way i can include the directions and specifics

Anyone recommend a website/Shop to do the invitations, boarding pass style?

  13. I have now booked my cruise and paid for the wedding! April 3, 2016 on Carnival Magic. Just received the email with all the paperwork, however they said the contract was included in the email, yet i didn't see it in the 13 attachments. Engagement pictures will be taken soon to get save the dates out earlier than normal.

  14. 2016 Bride here! I am looking to get married on a Carnival cruise next year! I am not sure where to start! Do I have to book my cruise first? Is TWE part of Carnival? Do they charge for their services?

    Any help please!

    TIA

  15. Future Brides! i dont know where to start! I just got engaged on Sunday! But we already discussed doing the cruise wedding with Carnival next April! Do I call TWE first? or carnival or what? does TWE cost to use their services or they get commission?

    TIA!:)
