i just got it. i've got a pretty warped sense of humor and find it funny even though my mom died last year but darn it there must be a few people sleepwalking at the sales departments.

I received the email- my mom passed 16 years ago and I laughed it off... But yeah, very poor way to grab people's attentions!

My husband (AD AF) and I just booked a cruise through NCL and received a discount. Not sure if they "brought it back" or we just happened to be at the right cruise destination (7-nights roundtrip Honolulu) but we were able to upgrade our room because of the discount!

As everyone else has stated: thank you for this review! The pictures are amazing and helped me decide on a couple of our excursions :cool:

My husband and I are going April 4, our first cruise, and our first trip to Hawaii, so we are overwhelmed with so many choices of activities!

For those of you who have been on POA- do they have self-service laundry? I read a post in another topic and said that NCL doesn't offer self-service laundry....

This is probably my biggest fear. My husband is active duty and we live overseas (Tokyo) so we will be arriving in the middle of the night the day of departure. As a first time cruiser I am worried that I won't have the correct information filled in or there will be some mistake with something and I will have no way to contact anyone to clarify the information as our Japanese cell phones will NOT work in the USA. (Only on wifi). As of last night we do have a confirmed reservation with NCL, but this makes me want to call daily until we are boarding the plane to make sure nothing changes!
