We were on HOS over Superbowl weekend and found something to do each night if we so desired!
We were couples between 45-60 and we all loved the silent dance party. I believe it was on night 1, 2 and maybe 5 on our 7 night western Caribbean cruise. Just an absolute blast! Wish we went again. The Pub had a great singer/guitar player, Boleros had a salsa band we enjoyed and discovered the Jazz club on the last night. Piano bar was not all that lively when we stopped a few times which was a disappointment as I usually love the piano bar.
We tried Dazzles a few times as the four piece band intrigued us but they seemed to play older music (think elevator music) and not what we were looking for. They were very good just not the nightlife we had hoped.
Ok I’ll bite. What’s a silent dance party?

It depends which location you have booked at. I think one is in Cancun BUT most people on cruise ships to Cozumel go to the location near the main town on Cozumel, which you wouldn’t need a ferry for. You may need a taxi depending on which pier you are docking at. You would only need the ferry for Cancun, which I wouldn’t recommend doing on your own for a cruise ship day (unless it is a ship excursion, which at the moment wouldn’t be running anyway) which is why I asked in the first place where you were doing it because it would be unusual that you would need to take the ferry.
The other popular dolphin swim on Cozumel is at Chankanaab but that is a different company, Dolphin Discovery.
I haven’t been to any so you would need to google for exact location and details.
We booked it through Royal Caribbean. Thanks for the info.

There is a location on the mainland but I agree the location on the island would be the norm.
So we would need to take the ferry? We will be there on 3/29

I just heard Royal Caribbean has canceled all excursions that require a ferry ride to the main land.
How far out? We are on the March 26th cruise and have a dolphin swim booked.

No cruise line lets you book last minute at the dock. Some let you book 24 hours prior, some the afternoon prior, but all of them require you to book by phone.
Thank you

Three years ago I booked the Getaway the day before. We were supposed to be going to St. Martin for a week and they were predicting a tropical storm with hurricane potential. When I was calling around trying to see what my Plan B would be all the cruise lines said they were not allowed to book any less than 24 hours before sailing. The Getaway was the only ship with any availability. I ended up booking at three o'clock Friday afternoon for a Saturday sailing. We did get a great deal.
If you are interested in the Boston cruise I can say in the summer those sailings are in high demand. I have been looking at the Dawn to Bermuda and have been surprised at how full they already are.

Has anyone gone to the port in Boston and booked a last minute cruise for the same day? Much cheaper? Where to go?

I'm on a couple RCL Facebook groups and there is actually a post concerning Brilliance and they are all saying good things. I don't question the original posters experience but maybe it was just an aberration.
What are the FB groups under?

I heard on another post that it was all new crew. They were training a lot of them. Don't know if that's true or not. We leave on her Dec 10th hope they smooth things out.
